SPEAKER_02Oh, man.
SPEAKER_01Just go pick something, hurry and get nay. We're recording right now.
SPEAKER_08Don't interrupt my mom.
SPEAKER_01Don't interrupt mom. She's at work. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Oh, man.
SPEAKER_01I see your button. Yeah, there you go.
SPEAKER_02Oh, man.
SPEAKER_10This is uh this is gonna be uh raw raw and uncut. Raw and uncut, yeah, but we want to welcome you guys to the podcast, Word around the campfire. If you guys are listening close, you guys know that the myth, the legend, the uncle slayer. She probably was with your uncle last night.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and at graduation.
SPEAKER_10At graduation, she was uh watching all of her sides, um, their kids graduate.
SPEAKER_01Hey!
SPEAKER_08Just really clapping for them. Yeah, really clapping for them, saying, Oh, that's my son, that's my daughter.
SPEAKER_01I'll be I'll be at the party tomorrow.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I'll be at the party tomorrow. We're talking about um graduation receptions. Um as you guys know, this year I only took uh six receptions. Uh I was telling Kessa that I only I'm only down to four. I'm excited. Yesterday I was in Crom Point and Cron Point. Cron Point I was on Crom Point over there.
SPEAKER_08I was uh not only visiting her, but jokes, jokes, jokes, jokes.
SPEAKER_02I wonder who they're talking about. Everybody on Crom Point's ears went up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he mentioned me. He mentioned me, yeah.
SPEAKER_10No me but it was uh it was an interesting reception. The family they invited me, there they've always been good people to me. Like they always have taken care of me. Um so I I didn't play any music at all during during the during the reception. I was telling Kessa the story before.
SPEAKER_09I'm crazy, man.
SPEAKER_10Uh so uh the reception was from two to five. I stayed an extra hour because you know they they they they were gracious enough to throw me another bill uh so I can stay. So I was like, okay, cool, you know, I I didn't have to be at Lock Street. I had another I had another reception too at Lock Street. Uh but that was I wasn't DJing that, I just went to go help uh lend out some equipment. Uh but holy shit, the reception there. No disrespect to the family. The family's good, the family is awesome, they're solid people. Like, holy cow, they're solid people. But the extended family uh just went crazy on the mic. Oh my god, it just a whole fucking chapter meeting. I can't I can't believe it. A whole fucking chapter meeting. I I think literally everybody got a chance to talk, and the speeches were anywhere from 15 to fucking 40 minutes, and it had nothing to do with the graduate. It had absolutely nothing to do with the graduate. They pretty much told their life story, they uh the mistakes that they made, and then at the end of every speech was don't get pregnant. That was it. No encouraging words to to the graduate, like, hey, you did an awesome job. Uh keep going forth with your education. Go, my son, go and climb the ladder, nothing like that. It was all their fucking life story. That's crazy. And I felt bad about it. I was telling Kessel, I felt bad about it because they wanted to dance. The graduate wanted to dance. Uh, that was on the agenda, and they just wanted to have a good time. But holy cow, it the fact that you were DJing too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, like what the heck, bro? You guys have this DJ here, and you uh not just any DJ either.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, me. Yeah, DJ Who Me. Oh man, so I was I was low-key disappointed. Um, not not in the family, but um in everybody that was there because they the whole reception was about them, it wasn't about the graduate, oh man, and the family is super respectful, so they just they they let their families talk, you know, which is cool. I don't have a problem with it, but just to see the disappointment in the graduate's face, I was just like, oh man, and then to tell them like I have to leave. Uh I was telling Kessa, you have those ones in the family that are so dramatic. Major. You have that auntie that gets up on the mic and learn from my mistakes, learn from my and she's still fucking making them still.
SPEAKER_01She's still finding baby daddy's deep. My baby daddy's deep.
SPEAKER_10She's still at uh bash's in the belly.
SPEAKER_01She's just she's just looking for her next victim.
SPEAKER_02Next victim, and she's gonna be at uh wooden nickel tonight.
SPEAKER_01She's just gonna leave the kids with the oldest one. All the all the teeny boppers.
SPEAKER_10So you have that auntie that that's trying to give a life lesson and trying to use her life as an example, and she's still fucking up. And it's like, like, holy cow. And again, mind you, every person that talked, they did not say anything encouraging to the graduate. It was about their life, you know? It was it was uh what they did growing up in high school, their memory went down, they went, they went down memory lane uh talking about what they did in high school. I I would understand it if you were talking directly to the graduate, yeah, but every person that talked didn't even acknowledge the graduate. They uh when they first got on the microphone, it was, oh, I'm so and so's aunt. Oh, I'm I'm related to them by this, and then they went on fucking left field.
SPEAKER_04Major.
SPEAKER_10And then at the end is is when they told her story, whatever, it was finally like, oh yeah, congratulations. Um, you know, best journey on all your adventures, and that's all I gotta say. Uh uh, I'll quit it.
SPEAKER_08Not too that's showing I never I never wanted to cut so much in Navajo in my life.
SPEAKER_10Hey, since yesterday. Yep, and then again I was telling Kessa about it, and then you have that uncle. Everybody has I have an uncle just like that.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I think there was an uncle today like that.
SPEAKER_10It was uncle today over there at the end of the day that you were with, or in.
SPEAKER_01I brought an uncle all the graduation um receptions we're going to. There you go. I have to bring one of the uncles. Oh, man.
SPEAKER_10But you have that uncle that's um a little flamboyant. Uh he's he's one of those ones, too, that has like a bunch of kids all over the place. He's the uncle that never brings anything besides his whole entire family. Uh, tries to be the life of the party, the the clown. He gets easily hurt, and he just has a little bit of sugar in his tank. And all you hear is uh, I guess that's all you hear is uh trying to wave his hair that he doesn't even have.
SPEAKER_08His little ponytail. His little ponytail, and then he's uh he's fine.
SPEAKER_10I guess he's the one, he's the one that spends all of his money on his outfit, and then his kids look like shit. They're just running around all dirty. Yup, all dirty, his his kids in the parking lot flipping off everybody with the dirty camper, but then he has a nice crease, his area shirt, everything, just cowboy hat, everything. So he's the one that that looks nice, and then even his lady just like thrashed, and she's all rugged.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. It looks like she works more than him.
SPEAKER_10Damn, there really is like that, man. Yeah, for real. So, so she uh the graduate had an uncle that was like that. Uh when they were playing trivia games, you know, they're the ones that that yell out the dumbass answers, uh, nobody laughs. And then so they're the they're the most dramatic ones too, as well. So towards the end of the reception, I you know, I I kindly it was coming up to my time, and I had I had told the the graduate's mom, like, okay, you know, like this is your time's coming up. And they offered, they were just like, if if we pay you for another hour, can you stay? Can you stay? And I felt bad. So I was like, okay, cool, yeah, I'll stay, you know. Uh, because I didn't have to be at Lock Street for, you know, until a little later. Again, I wasn't um again, I wasn't DJing Lock Street. I was just helping out, yeah, lending some equipment, and then but I ended up DJing anyways. Hey, um good. Yeah, there you go. And and we'll we'll talk about that reception. We're gonna talk about all the receptions we went to. So um, so yesterday, uh, like I said, the uncle got up. Uh they they they gave the open mic, and as soon as he got on the mic, like no no no no more than 30 seconds, he's already crying.
SPEAKER_08Really? Literally, he already crying, sniffly. I I remember when she came home, and and uh uh I was the first one to hold her and um um I was the first one to hold her and just went on and on. Oh gosh.
SPEAKER_10The first I would say five, ten minutes, okay, was about to graduate. And then after that, he went off. He found his opportunity. Okay, cool. It's my time to shine.
SPEAKER_02So he took a left turn and fucking went way out there to Denohozo.
SPEAKER_10He was in nobody could find the wave.
SPEAKER_02That's working tomorrow. Yeah.
SPEAKER_10So he took off in the left field, nobody knew what he was talking about, and he kept saying, I'm gonna finish. I'm gonna finish. Just let me say this. Let me say this. I was sitting there and I was just like, dude, shut the fuck up. Just shut the fuck up. What you're saying does not apply to her. You're talking about yourself, and he just went on about his achievements, what he did. And it's just annoying. He he probably works at NTUA. Hey! He probably works at Pesco's. He just ended up being uh uh an apprentice.
SPEAKER_03He's just at South Point, just um doing the um what is it? What is it the where it's just like look putting stuff together?
SPEAKER_10Um assembler. Yeah! He's on the assembly line. Yeah, he's he's the inspector that puts the number on there because he just looked at it and tags it. And he's all decked out and his outfits on layway. He's all decked out, and like I said, his kids and his wife are the ones that are all jacked up, you know. They don't even yeah. So we're talking about receptions, and like I said, you know, it it was it was crazy. Um about the 40-minute prayer. Oh, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I had a brain fart there. I was gonna I kind of had my mouth open, like, uh, what are you gonna say?
SPEAKER_01What are you trying to say, Mike? So at the beginning, lost him at Denna Holza. No, we lost him at Pisco. Assembly line.
SPEAKER_02Assembly line, uh had a flashback of whatever you did.
SPEAKER_08You look like you did fucking I did. I had a brain, I was I was I just faced off and I was like, uh what was I gonna talk about?
SPEAKER_10But that uncle scared him. The uncle scared me, yeah, because he he looked like he practices bad medicine. Uh but no, at the beginning, um the there was another uncle that came up and he's you know he prayed. It was a good prayer at the beginning, and then I just do not know what happened. He just prayed for everything the rocks outside, the weeds, the air, and you know, anything that he can look at, the fork, uh the napkin, and bless the fork as we uh insert it into the food, and then we uh put it into our mouth, and it feeds us and uh bless the napkin as it as it wipes away the food that's on our face. Just anything, anything that you could think of, man, and just all the way down to bless Lane Frost and his cologne that I'm wearing today. Yeah, so that that's the advertisement right there because Lane Frost blue cologne actually does smell really good.
SPEAKER_04Oh wow, it does they make the ladies' ones too, do they?
SPEAKER_10But uh yeah, I I bought the Lane Frost one, the the blue, that one smells freaking I gotta smell that. Yeah, but when I spray, I I I feel like um I'm Lane Frost.
SPEAKER_02Damn this turns into Lane Frost. This turns into Lane Frost and Hey, don't call him Mike, call him Lane.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, but then uh I I started acting like him too.
SPEAKER_08Eight seconds, eight seconds, yeah, holding on, and it's like damn it, Kelly. I told you stay away from him.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, but no, he prayed literally for like 40 minutes, and and it was like I yeah, it would probably okay, no disrespect, but that was the worst jokes, just jokes, yeah, just jokes, yeah, just jokes, and that was probably the wackest and saddest reception that I've done in all my years of DJing.
SPEAKER_09Oh my god.
SPEAKER_10I felt bad for the family. And like I said, the family is just super, super respectful. Like, holy cow, they're they're super respectful. Uh so they let everybody say what they needed to say, you know. Um the graduate wanted to dance. I felt bad because I couldn't I couldn't stay a little bit longer. I I I gave them an hour. Um but they were gracious enough again to pay me for the hour. Uh but if it was up to me, you know, if I didn't have this gig or if I didn't have to help at Lock Street, I would have stayed. I would have stayed, made sure that they had a good time. But man, it was it was hard. It was it was hard because like I said, you know, the it was about the receptions are supposed to be about the accomplishments of the graduate, not the uncle. Yeah, not the uncle. And when I was sitting there and I was listening to everybody, each story, each each uh I don't know what they were trying to do. Um how do you say um like oh man, what what what's the word? Um condemning her, I guess you could say like that.
SPEAKER_08Like celebrating her?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, like I'm just like, yo, encourage her, give her some encouraging words, tell her she did a good job because this this girl, like, holy cow, she was an all-star at athlete at Crom Point High School.
SPEAKER_04I was like, is it the one that listens to the podcast? Hey I don't know, yeah, I don't know.
SPEAKER_10But if you hear it, then uh your family is awesome. No, seriously. No, seriously, no, they are, but it's just yeah, it was other people that were there. And it as I was sitting there and I was I was you know listening to everybody's speech, and I'm just like, damn. Uh last year when when Brooklyn graduated, me me and her mom had decided, like, okay, uh, only you and I are gonna talk, and that's it. Because my family can get like that sometimes. You know, my mom can get like that, her grandma on her her mom side could get like that. I have I have um uncles and stuff that could get like that too. So we made it a point to say at the beginning, it's not an open mic, you know. Um, I'm gonna do the welcome address, and then at the end, before everybody leaves, um myself and her mom are going to talk, give some words of encouragement, and then that's it, you know? Yeah, and so that's what it was. And I I told him, you know, I said, if you guys want to talk to her, you guys are more than welcome to. She's sitting over here, give her words of encouragement. Uh, you're just not gonna do it on the mic. You know, uh so everything, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um not not not really. I I of course, you know, I I set up all my stuff. My nephews and my nieces were the ones that were playing the music and everything. So uh it was it was actually pretty cool.
SPEAKER_09Um like the uncle on the mic, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10I was the uncle on the mic crying and she has issues away, man. I'm gonna talk to you. I'm gonna talk to you, yeah. Just give you some good words, and then and then at the Charles was over there playing the flute.
SPEAKER_08Charles was playing the flute in the background, talking about it. You thought he was at bear dance, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It is like that, huh? It's different. It's weird. I don't know.
SPEAKER_10Not weird, but I don't I don't know um how that even got incorporated to the bear dance because is it because the bears are out? I have no idea. I heard it is that is that is that supposed to represent the scratching of the bears on the tree? Like when they do that or whatever, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yes, it sounds different and it sounds like yay bache music too.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. It does. It does. Um but yeah, I was as I was as I was listening to everybody's speech, like I said, no disrespect to anybody, but it was just I felt I felt really bad, you know? Uh and then as I was sitting there, that's when I started to think, like, why? Okay, I I I get the celebration of a graduation, the reception, wanting to hang out with family. But a lot of these people that come to these receptions, like, how much are they really involved in the graduate's life?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you know, like I experienced that today. Yeah, today's whoever like we had our own section for this graduate, uh-huh. But it's like the people that we knew that would show up to abate like the sports event she had and when she was in band and all this stuff, which I mean I understand people probably you know, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then all of a sudden, well, it was just us, there was like maybe like 15 of us sitting together. And then come to the party, it's like full. I'm like, how in the heck? Like, I mean, I don't know. Like it's it's her family and stuff, I understand, but yeah, it's like where where where was all these people? Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_10And and the crazy thing that you brought that up is because when she gave her speech, um, her grandma, her mom's mom, holy cow, like she she talked about her grandma like it was nobody's business. Like the the recognition that she gave her grandma was just top tier. Uh her grandma's her biggest fan. Uh was all at all of her sports events, volleyball, softball, uh, basketball. And again, my she is an all-star player at uh Crown Point High School. And her grandma showed up decked out and uh all the stuff that she wore to her games. And it was really cool when she was talking about her grandma and and saying that, you know, like, oh, even even when my grandma was sick, she still came to my game.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_10So she put her grandma on a pedestal, and then it was funny. I don't know if anybody caught this, but I was I was listening to her speech, and then she was just like, Yeah, I look around, and it's um it it it's good to see all of you guys. Um I've not seen all of you guys in in a in a long time. Oh some of you guys, I forgot your names. Oh uh, some of you guys I forgot that I was related to you. Yeah, you were my cousin, you were my auntie, and I was like, oh shit, shots fired. Just put him on the spot. I I know that she didn't mean it. Like, you know, as as as disrespect or anything like that. And again, that's what got me thinking of like of like, okay, who invented this reception? Yeah, what the fuck? Like, I want to go back in time and fucking punch you in the nuts. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wanna fucking just slap you in the face and and like I mean, we we uh people parents. Parents pay money to throw a party, uh a celebration just for their kids to get yelled at.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know, to get scold.
SPEAKER_10That's that's the word that I was looking for. Scull, to get scold. Uh I was like, damn, I was like, how how hard is it just to get up on the mic and just say, hey, you did a good job. Um I'm proud of you. Uh you accomplished everything that you wanted to do and sports and everything. And you know, wherever you go, you got your support. Like, I was thinking about that. Like, how fucking hard is that just to get on the mic and say that? And and because you're coming and you're eating free food, and the food was bomb yesterday. There, holy cow, it was freaking bomb. They had so how was the cake? The cake, the cake was they didn't have cakes. Um, it's funny because she had cupcakes. Oh yeah, she had like blue corn cupcakes, regular cupcakes. And it was funny because when her dad was um, you know, like like talking about her and uh as a kid and everything, and he said that she she was never fond of cake, but she can eat cupcakes for days. Yeah, so that's what they had. They had cupcakes, they didn't have a cake, and the the cupcakes were holy cow. I don't know who made the cupcakes, but I'm not gonna lie, I had like eight. Oh eight cupcakes. It was probably the moistest cup, moistest was the moistest if you heard me if you heard me eating the cupcakes, you're probably thinking I was some kind of pervert, man.
SPEAKER_02Moistest.
SPEAKER_10Yep, it but yeah, it was the softest cupcake that I've ever I've ever tasted. Uh the blue corn, the blue corn cupcake too as well. My little sister makes blue corn cupcakes, um, so it kind of just tastes the same. But the the cupcakes, holy cow, like they were amazing. And then they had um chopped beef for the reception. I swear to god, I don't know the the cater's name. It took me back to furs.
SPEAKER_09Oh shit.
SPEAKER_10That's how good it was. Flashback. Yeah, flashback for real, man. So I don't know if the the the cater used to work to furs. I was about to say I was I seriously, I and the patties for those, for those chopped, no, for the the chopped steak or chopped beef or whatever you want to call it, the hamburger patties, were big, they were thick, they were juicy. Again, they taste exactly like furs.
SPEAKER_05Dang.
SPEAKER_10Uh the the sauteed mushrooms, the sauteed onions were perfect. It was probably the best. And and I felt bad because um I just recently stopped eating meat.
SPEAKER_01Hey, what is that called? English.
SPEAKER_08I went the English way.
SPEAKER_01Muslim.
SPEAKER_08Muslim Asalam alaykum.
SPEAKER_01It's it's Muslim, right? I think they don't eat meat, right?
SPEAKER_10I don't know. Them and lesbians.
SPEAKER_04They always say, I don't eat meat, I'm vegan.
SPEAKER_10Lesbians, there you go, man. So I I felt bad because like I said, I I recently stopped eating meat. But yes, this um this was was this this was too good to pass up. It smelled so good. So I broke, I guess you could call it a fast. So I broke my fast. Holy cow. Wait, um so how long have you now um it's going on almost three weeks now. Meat? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Is that include bologna?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, it includes all kinds of meat.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10So all meats.
SPEAKER_08Oh meat says, so I can't go to Arby's. We what is it? We we got the meat. Yeah, make it Arby's commercial.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, so so um I I I broke my fast, I guess you could call it, you know, and I'm not gonna lie, like I had freaking three patties. I threw those patties on my plate. Yeah, even the mashed potatoes, the mashed potatoes were homemade. Um they still had the skin in there. It probably was was the best um the best reception food, I guess you could say, uh, that I've ever had. And the potato salad, oh man, the potato salad was perfect. It was graduation style. Oh, it was graduation style. Between the three styles. Yeah, yep. So they had two potato salads there. Ooh, with the graduation and NAC style. Oh and it was cool because the the father of the graduate, he was like, Oh, yeah, we have two potato salads. And he was like, one has no onions, has no olives, and he was like, There's another one that has olives and onions. He's like, for the for those that that that like olives and onions in their potato salad. And I was like, damn, I was like, this guy's pretty smart, you know? Oh shit. And I think it would, I think they're NAC NAC family. Hey! Because the NAC style was almost all gone. Damn. Or they must have it every weekend. Oh, they must have it every weekend at their basketball tournaments. But holy cow, like the food was on point. The food was on point. Uh, like I said, you know, I I I indulged in it and I felt bad afterwards because I was like, oh man, I I I've been off like meat or whatever, you know, yeah, for the last three weeks. I felt bad because I went to a reception and I didn't I didn't eat, I guess you could say. Not not not being disrespectful or anything, but I was just trying to keep that fast. But when it came to that, like just the smell, it brought it. It brought me back to furs. Like, holy cow. And as soon as I found out that it was chopped beef, because they came up to me and they were just like, oh, Michael, you can you can get a plate. So I went up there and I was like, oh, let me go check it out. Um went up there, saw it. I was like, holy cow, this is chopped beef, you know, like, or this is whatever, chopped steak or whatever you want to call it. And I was like, why does this look like furs? Like, why does this smell like furs? And so I just I yep, I threw three three patties on, filled up my plate, and freaking um I I I ate.
SPEAKER_01It's probably because of the furs flashback.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, fli furs flashback, man, is what it was.
SPEAKER_04I would have done the same thing.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, and it was good. And that, yeah, that was I like I said, I felt bad for the graduate. I felt bad for the family because they took time away from her and it's and her time to shine.
SPEAKER_04And it's the ones they haven't seen for years, probably. Exactly.
SPEAKER_10It's the one that they haven't seen for years, and it was crazy. And uh don't mean to put them on the spot, but the best and the funnest reception that I've done thus far uh was Brandon and his family.
SPEAKER_09Oh my god.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, that was that was fun. Like played games, the music was on point. Um, you know, uh I I don't think I've heard I didn't really hear any speeches. You know, I'm not trying to put them put Brandon and his family on blast, but man, bro, did a good job, man. That was fun, man. The best reception I've done this far. Uh and four more to go, and I'm looking forward to it, man. I'm looking forward to it. I got two this week, and then two more in June, and I am done, man. Don't gotta hear the creation story and changing woman story.
SPEAKER_01The 40-minute prayer. Yeah, the 40-minute prayer.
SPEAKER_10But yeah, the guy went on for freaking 40 minutes, man, praying about everything, man. And I was just like, I'm like, dude, man, but yeah, I felt bad for the graduate again. You know, I I wish I could have stayed there. Um, and then after that went to Lock Street. That was I was telling Kessa that, you know, uh, that was fun too, uh, because it was a red, it was a res band party.
SPEAKER_09I should have gone over there. Yep, yep.
SPEAKER_10I was hitting up Kessa and I was just like, What what res band to play next? You know, I was hitting up Kessa, and Kessa was like, play this one, play this one, play this one. All the recommendations that she that she sent were where they freaking hit, everybody was dancing, and it was it was just fun. It was just fun and uh Yeah, that was really cool because I was like, I know this song. Yeah, she was like, I I know this song. Or play this one, this one will get people on the dance floor. And then she got sad because she was just like, I'm starting to miss him now.
SPEAKER_00Just missing it.
SPEAKER_10She was ready to call him up. She's ready, she's ready to call her ex.
SPEAKER_01My ex, just still block. Oh, and that leads to the next question. I mean, not that I'm trying to like.
SPEAKER_04I know I'm still blocked you know, and he has like another.
SPEAKER_02Do you check up on him? Do you check up on him? Do you check up on him?
SPEAKER_10Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_01He has another wolf.
SPEAKER_10So, honest question. Do you check up on him because you miss him, or you just want to see if he's doing good?
SPEAKER_02Oh, that got too real, got quiet. I seen his side, uh choke up a little bit.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_02So I think she's going into that anti that anti-mote.
SPEAKER_04Just kidding. Okay, so I have like these waves of missing him.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But then I just checked to see if he's still with the wolf.
SPEAKER_10Okay, okay. So if he's if he's not with the with the wolf, are you is are what's what's your mind thought? Like, okay, I'm gonna slide back in.
SPEAKER_04I don't think I could, because after what I heard about stories after today.
SPEAKER_10Okay, I'm not trying to pry, but they wanted low. Hey! What's one of the stories that you heard that that that's uh that makes you concerned now?
SPEAKER_04Well, because I guess how fast he moved on.
SPEAKER_10Oh yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_04And it wasn't even like a week.
SPEAKER_09Damn.
SPEAKER_04So um the my friend that I was talking to, um, I finally like told her like everything. Yeah. And how it happened and whatnot. So that whole week when I was not talking, or that whole week that the whole thing happened, and um I was not like I I wasn't like not with him, you know. Like I was figuring out the connections. Oh, okay, okay. And so then I finally figured, you know, I figured it out, and then that was that time when he was trying to like come to my house and like knock on the door and shit, you know? Oh damn. And I like didn't answer my phone, didn't answer him and stuff. And then I was just telling her everything, and she's like, Yeah, she's like, not even a week. She's like not even a yeah, not even a couple weeks. Damn. Yeah, she told me so.
SPEAKER_10So so he moved on within a week, and it's been how long since you guys like broke up?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, um, like 10 months now.
SPEAKER_1010 months. So he moved on in a week, and it's it's um it's taken you ten months to still oh my gosh, and that's when I was on my major drinking screen.
SPEAKER_04Oh man, how how how long have you been sober? Oh my god, it's like a hundred plus days.
SPEAKER_10Man, congratulations, congratulations.
SPEAKER_04So I'm gonna have a reception too. Hey!
SPEAKER_10I'm just kidding. I'm gonna have a um uh what do you call relapse?
SPEAKER_04Oh, there's times, you know, when I kind of just say like you just wanna you you're you're craving it. Yeah, and then like when you're hanging out with the people I used to hang out with, yeah, and I ended up going to Sunray for what is it, horse race? Oh, okay, okay. A couple times, and there's been a couple times where I just said, fuck it. And then I'm like, oh, I can't do it. Like I I I feel guilty when I think about it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_10So oh so so um since you're not an alcoholic anymore.
SPEAKER_00Since you're not missing him.
SPEAKER_10So I guess I guess within with within that, before we actually get to kind of the question question, um, what what are some of the I guess you could say the the the the memories that this like uh that makes you start missing him?
SPEAKER_04I think when I went to Wu Tang clan. I think it is because I st you know like when you because I went to Wu K you knew.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I told you I was like, hey, I'm up here with my snag. Yeah, yeah, and I was like, we're like which one?
SPEAKER_08Don't get lost. Yeah, don't get lost. MMI W.
SPEAKER_04Just gonna be on the phone, Mike. Can you please come get me? We're just all the way in Denver. No, yeah, I don't know. It's just like the little things, you know? Yeah. That like we would always go to pop. Okay, and then the the one is Wu Tang. Yeah, like when I listen to it, because we went to that concert together. Yeah, and we both got matching shirts together. Oh, dang. Ugh, I just look at the shirt. I wear it sometimes.
SPEAKER_02It's like he's hugging me.
SPEAKER_01Yay! Let me just fucking burn it. I'm like, I paid $60.
SPEAKER_10I ain't gonna burn it. Y'all, he paid $60. Yeah, he paid $60.
SPEAKER_04I mean, and then like we yeah, we would go to pop.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then we would like, um, have you had like a dairy queen float?
SPEAKER_10Uh it's been a while, but yeah. But you know what it is, right? The fleshie with the ice cream in there? Yes. Yeah, okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And he's the one that showed me that. Oh, yeah. So then I was like, oh my gosh. And then the one thing that hit me is like my friend.
SPEAKER_10Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Uh the carnival was here. Oh, okay. So we would always tease each other, like, oh, are we gonna go to the carnival stuff? You know, like, hey, trying to be all that couple things, yeah, trying to be like and then he would say carnie. Oh yeah, and then my friend's like, Oh, are you gonna go to the carney?
SPEAKER_02And I was like, Oh it triggered you.
SPEAKER_04I was like, Oh my god, yeah, it did. I was like, Oh my gosh. And I told my friend, I was like, Oh my gosh. And my friend, remember he's his cousin? Yeah, and then I was like, fuck. And I was like, damn. I said, Why'd you say carnie? He's like, he's like, why? What? He's like, Oh, never mind. I was like, damn, bruh.
SPEAKER_10Holy cow.
SPEAKER_04So what? It's been since August, so what August to now?
SPEAKER_10Holy cow, yeah, it's gonna be about almost a year and two months.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, dang, and I'm still like like I talk, like I don't really talk about him that yeah, but he came up to like his name came up in conversation today. And then I'm just like, ew, and then like I shouldn't be checking on him, you know? Yeah, but you do, ew, yeah, I'm trying not to, and it's like he's still with the wolf, you know? Yeah, so I'm just like just lay it to rest.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, and and that's uh that that's crazy that that you um that you're talking about, or while I don't want to say crazy, but I because I brought it up. But uh we'll we have uh kind of like a social media question too, as well. Uh but when everything happened when you're break when you're when you break up, when you broke up, when you break up, uh I went to uh Crompoint, got all red. Hey, moistus.
SPEAKER_08Moistus said it was the moistest cupcake ever. I almost started crying when I said it.
SPEAKER_10So uh we on on the other podcast with Shell's um we're talking about you know an X and X apology. Uh when when you guys broke up and they were asking, like, ask Kessa, ask Kessa that, you know? Yeah, um, because you know, like I said, our listeners always ask about you and when's Kessa gonna be on the next one. Oh thank you guys, those are amazing.
SPEAKER_04I know, I was like holding the record.
SPEAKER_10And um she she promotes the podcast good too, so shout out to Kessa. Oh thank you guys, thank you.
SPEAKER_04I know, but you kept asking, I was like, shoot, I have to do it.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, study or not, sunburn or not. Yeah, because it came in and she's all dark. She closed her eyes and I lost her.
SPEAKER_04For real. I am so dark, even my face is dark, huh?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So I know my foundation doesn't match if I put in there.
SPEAKER_02If you try to blend your face is gonna look all white like Michael Jackson.
SPEAKER_10Ooh, it was forget it. But um, but on the podcast, it asked us um about an ex apology. And then one one of the one of the listeners was like, You should ask Kessa that. You should ask Kessa because we heard, you know, like she talked about her ex or whatever, and you guys are joking about it. Yeah, so when you guys broke up, um, did you guys apologize to each other or was it an apology or like him say, hey, I'm sorry this didn't work out or whatever, nothing?
SPEAKER_04No, no, because you just went cold turkey, dude. I like went off on him because I found out what I found out. Yeah, I didn't open the door for him. He calling, texting, I didn't answer. I was like not I was like acting nonchalant, like very short words that Friday. And my stupid ass at the time was out drinking and I wasn't even supposed to be at the bar, and he was at his at the hotel, oh dang, yeah, whatever, like whatever. And then he's like, Oh, I'll see you tomorrow, which was like the event, I guess. And so I didn't show up and that Saturday evening, yeah, like afternoon, yeah, evening, I guess, like a five or something, five or six, and he was texting, like, oh, how come you didn't show up and like all this stuff? And I and I he kept calling. I never talked to him on the phone, but I was texting him and I and I started saying stuff, and I was like, and the last thing I ever told him was um well not really, but the last thing I told him was like don't text me, don't call me ever again.
SPEAKER_10And was he respectful of that? And just like no, did he try again?
SPEAKER_04Um I can't really remember now because I said, Don't you ever call or text me again? And I think he just he tried to call and call, but I didn't. So that happened Saturday. I did not talk to him Sunday, and he had my Stanley Cup in his ride and he had a t-shirt that I had in there that he borrowed or whatever, because he didn't have clothes or something happened. But yeah, so and I asked, well, I asked my friend, which is his cousin, yeah, for that stuff, and I think that's like he didn't give it back to me for a few days, yeah, because I think that's when he knew. Oh, okay, or unless he he went with the wolf. Oh, so and then so the week went by, and then um I decided to text him on Friday. Oh, and I did, and I said, like, oh, I hope you're okay, I hope you you'll be okay, and all this stuff. And he's like, Yeah, I'm okay, thanks. Like with a thumbs up, and then that's when I was like, fuck, it's done, you know, like it's over.
SPEAKER_10Okay, so so when you um when you text him and then he texts you that, you know, honest was I'm I'm pretty sure you were sad because it was just like, oh shit, it's over. It's it's really over.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it did, it was, and then because like I was like, Oh, hope you're okay and all this stuff. And he's like, Yeah, I am, thanks.
SPEAKER_09Dang, you know what that sounds like though? Um the notebook. Oh no, no, no, no, no. Um dang. Uh oh, oh yeah, yeah, it sounds like a bitch.
SPEAKER_08It sounds like a bitch I'm not gonna lie to shit.
SPEAKER_10I did that. Like, like I said, when it I was, you know, yeah, yeah, I I was sprung, like for real, you know, like like that's so I I I know that I know that feeling and then like I in the beginning, like I didn't want to do any of that because of the situation with the sister, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like the cousin sister.
SPEAKER_09Okay.
SPEAKER_04And I just and I ended it like what maybe April, May, like a month after. And he's the one that was like, Oh, it's okay, like like no, why you want to do this? Like, he was getting mad and stuff, and he was like, Well, can I still be your friend? Can I still talk to you and text and stuff, you know? And then I said, No, no, but then it's like it just kind of fell back into it again, you know. But yeah, it was so sad. And then that Saturday I was I seen my mom and I told her, she's like, just text and just call him. And then so I texted him and I said, Why are you acting like this? Like what you know? Yeah, and he never texts back. Dang, so I was like, fuck. And I started crying. I was crying, I was just crying in the Kirtland 7-Eleven.
SPEAKER_10Dang, so so um your mom's kind of to blame for this too, huh? Hey!
SPEAKER_04She's an instigator, and it didn't even work yet.
SPEAKER_10It didn't work. Thanks, mom.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I'm never taking your advice again.
SPEAKER_10Hey, oh god, thanks for birthing me, but that's it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then and the crazy thing is, oh my gosh. So I decided to call him Sunday. Yeah, it was blocked. You know how it says thank you for, you know. I don't know. I just blocked me.
SPEAKER_10I don't know. I don't know if I've ever been. I mean, I'm pretty sure people have blocked me, but if if for me personally, if you tell me don't text me, don't call me, you know, I'm just like, okay, cool, respectful. You know, I'm I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna in in in a sense, Chase, I guess you could say.
SPEAKER_04So do you think that's the same that he did, maybe?
SPEAKER_10What's that?
SPEAKER_04Like, do you think maybe it's because he had like the wolf already in line?
SPEAKER_10Or that, that, and I think, I think um, um, in a sense, probably he did okay, so is this guy what what's his what's his status like um as far as if if he went out, does people know him? Like, oh hey, what's up, that's so-and-so, or whatever, or was he just uh an unknown name?
SPEAKER_04Hey you mean like like being with him and stuff or uh just just in general?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, just in general, like just in general. So um I'm pretty sure like as far as that, um I think maybe it might have been an image thing. Like, oh, I d I don't want people to to you know to to say that I'm harassing this person or whatever, you know. So I'll I'll just stop that or whatever, you know? Um because like I said, I'm not trying to put the spotlight on me or whatever.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, no, just like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like for me. Hey, you act like the uncle.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, like no, I mean, I mean, I mean, you know firsthand, like when when um people people know, I guess I hate to say this, like like I said, you know, people know me, you know, in the area. Uh so even the times that we all hung out with the group or anything, or even when we're out, whatever, you know, we ran into each other, people, hey Mike, hey, did you who me, whatever, you know, so so it was always that. So as as that, you know, I think I think maybe that's that's what it was, is is just didn't want to get caught up in that, I guess you could say. But then again, it could be it could have been her too. Yeah, he was just trying to say, Oh, she's just a friend or whatever, and it's nothing major, nothing serious. But didn't she confront you too?
SPEAKER_04No, no.
SPEAKER_10Oh my god, oh this is the baby daddies.
SPEAKER_08This is gonna be a long last one.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_08I'm thinking, I'm thinking.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh, you lost me.
SPEAKER_10I think flashback again. So um I guess I guess in again in a sense. So there wasn't no apology, right?
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_10So if he came back and he apologized and he explained himself, like, oh, this is the reason why uh this you know I'm sorry for whatever, blah blah blah. I I don't know what kind of apology would you believe him? No, because I know you know now, because I know the story. Oh, okay, so you know the story. So in that sense, not to not to make it sound cheap or make you sound cheap, but do you think that you might have been the side?
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_04No, no, this bitch.
SPEAKER_00No, this bitch, okay.
SPEAKER_04No, because no, I don't think so. Just taking it. No, because you know what? He was the side. He was the side I'm gonna ask homemade. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_10If you're listening, uh yeah, if you're listening, bro, it's uh um, you know what? There's there's uh one eight hundred number that you can call it called 1800 got played.
SPEAKER_08And then the callers you know then I answer it and then I just ha ha ha, you got played, sucker.
SPEAKER_01You're bitch, bitch.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, okay, it really comes out now. Okay, put my shades on.
SPEAKER_10She's all shameful now.
SPEAKER_04I'm all shameful now.
SPEAKER_10Oh man, okay, okay. So, so I'm in. That's uh man, that that that's crazy, man. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you know what? I kind of you know, I really didn't trust it though, like in the beginning, you know. And then like I like he would be he's really nice. Yeah, and like I I would think he would he would have been faithful and stuff, which I did, which I know it was, but come August, like there's this app. Do you know that app Strava? No, it's like a running, walking, mountain biking app where it records your miles. Oh yeah, yeah, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_10I think I've heard of it, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So Loki has a Strava, okay?
SPEAKER_10Oh, so so it's like uh almost like a uh a social public thing where people can see each other's status, I guess like okay, they ran, so whatever, you know, okay.
SPEAKER_04And they they can post pictures and stuff on there too. So that's where I've been checking on him. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Is he running faster than me? Is he running running longer than me?
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna have to outbike him too. But yeah, so like he postes her posts with her on that yeah, Strava.
SPEAKER_10So like uh like like just like couple pictures or yeah, would it be like couple?
SPEAKER_04I'll have to show you the pictures. Okay, okay, okay. But um uh is it coupley? Nay, but yeah, it's kind of just like photos, but they're not really like oh okay, like I don't know how to explain it. Intimate kind of I guess you could say uh they're just kind of like friendly, but okay, like everybody fucking knows who's with her. Yeah, so but like yeah, that it just I don't know. I'm like, uh got all sweaty.
SPEAKER_10Yep, sorry to bring it up.
SPEAKER_04No, no, wait, okay, so what I was talking about, like if I was a side, yeah, he was a side. So he was a side. So I didn't I didn't make I wasn't sure of it. Yeah. So I kept my roster, you know? And I kept bopping around too, you know? So and uh yeah, so I was like, and then come to find out, like, I don't know, like she started liking his strava August 2nd. Yeah.
SPEAKER_10So when the whole thing happened, so so yeah, so it kind of kind of almost sounds like you guys are just kind of playing each other almost. Yeah, is it? Yeah, I mean, I mean, if if if he if he had that like quick like that, you know, um, I I I would think, I mean, not saying it badly, no, yeah, you know, it can't just kind of sound like you guys played yourself, you know, or played each other, you know. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so I didn't like, yeah, you know, and then it kind of like was too late, you know, like to fall like deep into it and shit. So I'm kind of like, oh, this motherfucker.
SPEAKER_10But but if you're uh, you know, even after 10 months, if you're still checking up on them, that's still kind of deep.
SPEAKER_04I know. I should not even be, you know, and there's times like I block him and then I unblock him and just look. And then like, I guess, yeah, I'm just like, ew, I really need it. Do you need to check in the mental health? Just kidding.
SPEAKER_08Better help, betterhelp.com, girl.
SPEAKER_10I'm like, and then that, like I said, you know, like I didn't mean to cut you off, but that kind of goes into our next question. Um one one of our one of our listeners was was uh kind of doing the same thing that you're doing.
SPEAKER_04Oh, like playing.
SPEAKER_10He's in a relationship. Uh they they've been going strong for a while, playing. Yo, yo, his his his girlfriend's probably listening too, like, what he's playing me. He's not playing you, all right? It's just an honest question. And he said that they've had this discussion before, him and her, and it it uh revolves around social media. And he he he sent in a uh an email and it was just like, hey Mike, uh Michelles, uh I heard you talk about social media, you don't have social media, whatever. And I've always expressed, you know, for me why I don't have social media. Uh it has nothing to do with anybody or anything like that. Um it's just I just don't know how to use it. Uh I just don't have time for it, whatever. Um now at my age, I guess you could say, being business minded being business minded, if I'm going to pay attention to something like social media, uh, I want to get paid for it. You know, I want to get paid for it because that's taking time out of my life and uh my schedule to to invest in that, I guess you could say. But he said that he was like, oh man, Micah, you know, I I appreciate your views on social media and Shells, you know, Shell said that he he took a break from social media before he actually quit over, you know, quit quit um uh TikTok. And he said that he was he was saying that that it's come to a point on his social media of where he's uh checking on his girlfriend all the time. Even though they're together, you know, even though they live together, and he was like, man, he's like and and we were just being honest when when I said um I don't like now, uh whatever, you know, like I I don't I don't really like uh pictures that are sent to me um you know from people that are like oh check this out whatever because I'm just like dang ever okay. Not not in a petty ass way or whatever, but I'm just like I don't I don't want to see it if everybody else saw it, especially if I'm rocking with somebody, you know? Um if they send me a picture or whatever, I'm just like I don't I don't want to see it because I I know that everybody else saw it before me kind of thing, you know? And I I said that just from a personal experience, like I said, I have no right to say that at all too. Because I was I was I'm I'm was dumb with social media at one point with Snapchat, you know? Yeah and I take accountability for that was stupid. Um but the way that I talk to my friends, like I've always said, is the way that I talk to my friends as jokingly, like even with you, you know? Yeah, like we could have a conversation and it could it could sound um hate to say it, but it could sound sexual, but it's funny, you know, it's jokes and being able to even say that too, like, oh you sound like a bitch, bitch, yeah, and you you're being female, you know? Yeah, like because sometimes I feel bad when when we say that, and they're just like, oh, you're calling her that, or you're calling them that.
SPEAKER_08You know there's gonna be someone there's always gonna be somebody that has a fucking opinion.
SPEAKER_10Um just freaking jump off the bridge. Hey or go um, yeah, go find them. My ex and uh go download that app and see where he's running.
unknownYeah!
SPEAKER_04And go check out the pictures that they think they're together. Oh, I want to show you I'm all and they'll give me my phone.
SPEAKER_10Um, but but I guess you could say so so he was he was talking about how social media is an addiction. And he said that even though that they live together, they're always together and stuff. Um he was like, I have this habit of of checking checking her social media. Um, you know, like um checking her Snapchat, checking her TikTok, checking her Facebook. And he was like, for some reason, he was like, I it it's an it's an addiction. And he's like, when I first wake up in the morning, he was like, She's laying beside me. And he was like, I I checked social media to see if she posted anything from last night or her thoughts or whatever, you know? And he was like, I think I'm gonna take a break. He's like, I'm gonna take a couple of uh a maybe a month or so break, and then maybe I'll be okay and come back. And he was like, What you know, like how I guess he kind of asked me like how I did getting off the social media, you know? And I told him first off, I was never I I didn't know how to use it, whatever, you know. I just I I didn't know I'm not a social media person, but I had told him that and I was honest with him. I asked him, I I told him, I said, What's the point of you getting off social media if you're just going to go back into it? Oh yeah, because the same pictures are gonna be there. When you log back in, you're gonna see the updates, you're gonna see what she's doing or whatever, you know. So I told him, I said, So what's the point of you logging off of social media to take a quote unquote mental break if you're just going to see everything again, you know?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_10And as a social media person, I'm not saying that you do that or whatever, but but how do you feel about that? Like, as far as like um from a female's mental point of view, because you did mention that you were you watch him.
SPEAKER_04Oh like I guess it's di well for me, yeah, it's different because like I don't know if ew, am I being a stalker? Yay, but then if your lady is with you, yeah, like what's the reason? Like, are you like insecure?
SPEAKER_01Insecu insecure? Insecure.
SPEAKER_04Are you like insecure about like what she's posting or like you know, like you mentioned the pictures? Yeah, yeah. It's like is he trying to like watch her? Like, you know, yeah, like almost micromanaging kind of yeah, so like you're watching her profile or you're on social media, but then you're with her, you live here, live with her, you're with her, yeah, all the time. So I'm kind of like, what are you up to? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, it just doesn't, yeah.
SPEAKER_10So and and it was crazy because we we we've had a convers. We were you know emailing each other and everything, and and um, so and I actually gave him my phone number, and he's a really cool guy, man. He's he's uh he's he you know started listening to us since the old podcast, you know. Yeah, and uh so and you know, we just kind of started texting each other and just kind of uh I guess in a sense he doesn't have any male friends to his own. Oh, okay, that's probably why. Yeah, because you know, like he's so faithful to his to his girlfriend, you know, and uh their you know, marriage is in their plans is is what he said, you know. But he's and and I could I could relate to him when he told me this. He was just like, he was like, dude, he's like I'm dating her way out of my league. Oh he's like I'm dating her way out of my league. And he was like, I don't know what she sees in me, you know, why she's with me. And he was like, She's a freaking solid 30. And he was like, here I am, just a fucking four or whatever, you know. And and so he was just like, you know, so maybe in a sense, yeah, it is insecurity, you know, like it is an insecurity. And you know, I when he said that, I started to think about myself, and I'm just like, like, damn, like, yeah, I I you know, I dated outside of my league. You know, I don't know why, you know. And so I could um not not relate to the whole social media thing, but just relate to what he's thinking about as a man.
SPEAKER_09Yeah.
SPEAKER_10Because like I said, you know, like um guys, and then it goes back to the other question that we can get into is for guys, you know, it's always an insecurity of of dating. Um, like I said, you know, like guys can date down. Yeah, uh, guys can date down, guys, and it's hard for a guy to date up, you know? Because once you start getting once you date up, it's standards. There's a bunch of standards and everything. So uh I think that's the reason why some guys just date down and they would just rather be with somebody that's uh that's kind of in their area, you know. And you know, like I said, I had that experience of of of of dating way outside of my element, you know. The um, like I said, you know, the last relationship was I mean, you know, yeah, she's a fucking 10, you know, like more than a 10, man, fucking 15, 30, man, and I had no business. Oh no, don't say that.
SPEAKER_04Are you sure you're not emailing yourself?
SPEAKER_02Hey, it was a question to me.
SPEAKER_04I could see that that he's kind of checking on, you know. I can see that now that he said that, you know what I mean? Yep, yeah, which I mean, yeah, he probably worried and stuff. Yeah, yeah. Someone take his chick. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10And um, and I guess I guess in a sense, I don't know if you've ever done it, like uh took a break from social media, like just to clear your mind, like maybe um delete your account or deactivate it, or I don't know what what how you do it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, or whatever. Rarely, I'm rarely on Snapchat, yeah. So like when I post, I'll post, but I don't really like talk to a lot of people on there. Yeah, but then it's like Instagram, just posting, Facebook is just old. TikTok is TikTok's TikTok, not trying to be a live influencer.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, not trying to be go-go.
SPEAKER_04Not trying to be go-go and the other granny. Oh, but yeah, so like I did try that to take a break, but it's always the mental thing where you're like, let me go look and see, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But and I get tired of people sending me reels, like alcoholic reels. Yeah. I'm so tired of that. So that's why I just yeah. But either way, you try to take a break, you're still on it.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah. And and and like I said, I've always I've always said, you know, my sisters, they always get they always get all jammed up and everything. They're just like, just get on TikTok, just create an account. That way we can send you videos. And I'm just like, just save it, you know, download it, save it, send it to me. I'll watch it.
SPEAKER_04I always forget that. Yeah, because I'm like, hey, and then you're like, I send you one.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, you're like, I don't have TikTok. Oh yeah, I forgot.
SPEAKER_08I don't have TikTok.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and you're like, you have to download it.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, or I'll I'll I'll tell people that do send me TikToks, I'll tell them what's what's what's the title or what's the tag. Um, because you can go to YouTube, you know, enter that tag, and then it'll come up too, you know? Yeah, so you know, I I know some people get frustrated with me about that, but I'm just like, it's for me personally, I I think um, like I said, I it it's just I I just never clicked with it. But I know with some people like like him, like the homie, uh he's like I said, he's he's becoming a good friend of mine now. Um okay. And he's just like, yeah, it bro, it's insecurity, it's all it is, man. All guys have it, don't worry about it, man.
SPEAKER_04Females too, yeah, especially like even the same thing, like even like the rating. Yeah, like if you're with somebody or someone that's older than you, yeah. Oh man, if he's an uncle, uh way older than you, but like I don't know for a female, they like if you're dating someone like a way older than you, yeah, like they can go find a granny that's their age. Yeah, you know, dang. And it's kind of like fuck hey, yeah, or like, yeah, so it's I would I would be looking to dang and and talking about you know, older.
SPEAKER_10Um, I think I I think I felt that this this uh this past week because uh Kessa was awesome. Actually, got me a Red Bull and some twinkeys for my birthday. Birthday's on the 26th, so uh shout out to Kessa for that. But man, like even even that, like you know, being older and even getting into like a dating scene. Like, I'm I'm I'm so far gone of not even thinking about anything. Dave, I'm like, you know what? If it happens, then not then, but I um you know it's it's been a good journey.
SPEAKER_04I know, yeah, dead free. Yay! You don't have to worry about anybody, yeah, or like any of the bullshit because like even with the ex, I would argue with him and shit, you know. But it's just like uh he she can deal with it. And then like whatever, like you like like the way you said, like just whatever, yeah, then whatever, you know. Yeah, but other than that, I'm just like uh I'm I'm I'm good. Yeah, I want to actually enjoy summer. Yep, there you are. All my last summer was just argument.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, that's with uh with the cha or oh folded arm productions.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, you remember when just flopping? Yeah, I was like, I told him I was like, I told him I was like, oh yeah, I was like, oh, the best DJ and everything is gonna be at um no worries. So you're like, I'm usually there, like I'm there. Yeah. I was telling him that, and he was like, Oh no, maybe you can go next time, you know, like trying to be out. And I was like, oh hell no. So I started getting buzzed on purpose because we were um we were eating out, yeah, and then and then he was like trying to like control my drinks and stuff. I was like, paying for this shit. I'm paying for my own shit, you know? Yeah, so then I got buzzed on purpose. Yeah, I started taking shots, and I seen like party crowd, they seen me and stuff. So we started taking shots. He's like, You're not supposed to drink, you're not supposed to. I was like, whatever. I said, take me to no worries right now, and then so we picked up his niece, yeah, and we picked up his brother, I guess. I don't know if they're all cousins, but you know how they hey, you know how natives say that's my brother, hey. You guys are you guys are cousins, say you guys are cousins, any? And so we went over there, and then you know, I hell I'm like, oh hell yeah, hey, come on, this is the best DJ, so y'all better move out of my way. Oh, yeah, and then that's when I came up to you, huh? And he was so mad, yeah.
SPEAKER_08He was, and I was just like, What the heck?
SPEAKER_10Like, I was just yeah, it was funny. And then, you know, um, asked Kessie, I was like, Where's he at? She's just like, he's in the back, look back there, and he's all sitting back there, all holding arms and everything.
SPEAKER_05I was just like, what the heck, man?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he was so mad. Oh my gosh, it was like, ew, and I try to tell him, like, you know, like, like, why don't you go get a drink too? You know, like leave your car here, we'll Uber. Oh and then, like, yeah, and he was just like so mad. And then, like, when we were getting lit with his sister, yeah, like she was like, we were doing shots and stuff.
SPEAKER_09Damn.
SPEAKER_04And then that's when we started like dancing and stuff. He's like, Oh, I'm just gonna be in the car.
SPEAKER_09Damn.
SPEAKER_04So he waited in the car. He's like, Oh, wait, uh, you guys will be here till 12. So you guys ever start coming out. I don't fucking leave at 12.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, excuse me.
SPEAKER_04We shut it down. Yeah, there you go, and and yeah, so and then we got in the car and he was like freaking mad, and and we're like, Yeah, let's take the party to his his his brother's house, yeah, which is my friend. And then he's like, Yeah, you guys should have came over and stuff. I was like, Oh, this one, you know, so him, and then he was just like mad, huh? Just because like I was coming up talking to you, yeah, he was trying to explain, like, oh, it's not like that. Like, yeah, he's my brother. That's my brother, yeah. And I tried to explain that to him, and he just wasn't having it. I was like, Oh my gosh, this is so embarrassing. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_09And then I felt I felt sorry for you.
SPEAKER_04Yay, right? And it was kind of weird because I was trying to act weird, you know, like I wasn't really being myself.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, it wasn't it wasn't the Kessa that we knew, it was uh a whip kessa.
SPEAKER_00Really?
SPEAKER_08It was somebody that we didn't even know. I was just like, who's this? I don't know this person.
SPEAKER_04I know, and then after when I started getting lit, I started like like being myself. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02She did.
SPEAKER_04Ooh, just even you knew that.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, man. I was just like, dang, man. Like, like, I don't know, man. I mean, this I I think um, yeah, I mean, yeah. What happened to you?
SPEAKER_08I was gonna say something, but I'm gonna say it.
SPEAKER_00I'm all what happened to you? Just went in a trance.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I did, man. Freaking, but man, that that's that's yeah, that was that was the question that that that he was wanting to ask, you know, and and um, like I guess you could say how to wean off of it, I guess, you know. Yeah, and like I said, I you know, social media is always gonna be that person's conviction. I always say that all the time. That's gonna be your that's gonna be your conviction. However, you do social media social media that that's your that's your conviction. If you know you're doing something stupid on there you shouldn't be doing, then yeah, maybe delete it, take a break from it or whatever. But if you're only taking a break from it because you got in trouble, maybe it's something different. You know?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_10Like I said, you know, I I was on Snapchat, I was stupid, you know, and and uh as soon as as soon as it was it was like dang that that's uh you know that that's something stupid, you know? I freaking deleted it, boom. Didn't even think twice about it because you know that person was more than that, you know? It was worth worth more than that change. Oh yeah, oh I can see that, right? Yeah, yeah. So it was just like it was it was no brainer, you know, it was a no-brainer. Uh like I said, you know, I owned up to my mistakes, you know, like I said, but but then again, I don't want to say then again, I'm not trying to justify it, but I just yeah, it was it was stupid. But uh it wasn't it wasn't hard for me to not even like think about it. Yeah, not even even saying, oh, I'm gonna take a break and then I'll get back on it later. It was just like nope, like it's it's just yeah, it's done. Yeah, yeah. But I guess um my honest opinion, my honest answer is if you're going to just go back into it, I'm gonna log back in, um then there's really no reason to take a break. Yeah, you're in it too deep. Yeah, you know, you're in it too deep, even if you go back. Yeah, even if you go back, because it's always gonna it's always gonna be there in your mind, you know. It's always gonna be a thought or whatever. So, homie, man, I hate to say it, man, but uh you might as well not log out. I'm just being a hundred percent honest, man. You might as well not log out, don't take a break. Just uh, you know, talk to your lady, man. Talk to her and and tell her how you're feeling, you know, the insecurities. It's uh it's a little easier to to.
SPEAKER_04talk about then then to try to hide it because it will it will eat you up and yeah you know kessa's an example of of stalking it's an example of oh my I'm gonna thank Kessa for using herself as an example stalking 101 she has a class on TikTok is called stalking 101 so this is if you want to join my class just kidding yeah uh don't do it because if you keep doing it and logging in you're just gonna keep looking at it and it's just gonna fuck you up even more yeah and then it's like yeah and then if you want to delete it leave it deleted yeah just I'm about to take Strava off right now this is the wolf this is the wolf oh damn major huh okay um that's that's her huh I guess she's Granny Oh she's older she's like older than Granny same age I guess maybe like two years I guess I yeah I liked it too I would have double tap that I liked it for you see like the photos do they kind of look like they're like oh she's showing me now the photos let me see a couple I guess is it like friends or couples?
SPEAKER_10Um I have no idea I mean if they're just keep scrolling if they're together then I guess that's um they're an item they're couple does it look like it yeah it kind of looks like it she uh see now we're being stalking live right now now now now now she uh got me looking at the the the pictures and I'm just like I'm trying to justify it for her if it's stalking or you know it's just really what she said it was because before this before the podcast we were having a conversation about it and um we're having a conversation about it and she was she's telling me about it but I don't think this is um I mean it's just yeah there's a couple pictures of of him riding his bike and what he does and then of her too as well. So I guess I guess it's uh couples. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Think so I mean if you look at that what would you think?
SPEAKER_10If I saw that um I would just be you know I'd I'd question first like oh okay that's his writing partner or whatever you know if I didn't know him and I just you know clicked onto it and I saw it and I was like okay cool that's his um you know that's it that's his writing partner or whatever it looks like that huh yeah yeah and then there's a couple pictures in here that he's he's writing with a group so it does look like it's a writing group but then there are a couple in here that you know he's a little too close to her.
SPEAKER_04Too close to the wolf to the wolf man he's gonna get bit and then turn into a she wolf but yeah I mean I don't know did you like any of them no thing you should like it it's gonna say Kessa likes your story so with that app um see so like did this one too again so it looks like they're just like huh yeah it looks like they're they're chilling but I don't know um he's not really giving it actual the definition yeah so you might be so snaky like that so we might have a chance man have a chance I'm gonna sock him first chance oh and then apologize and then uh get back together oh you know I think about that and I'm like fuck don't do that don't fucking do it man that that's too funny but um and then uh that I guess that revolves around to the question what we're talking about um uh what do you call it um exes or whatever so wild baby daddy stories let's go that's one of the craziest Kess I just put on her sunglasses right now it's gonna get deep put them back on I don't want them to see like sometimes I think good thing this is not live because oh man that's too funny so um what what's I mean I've you've told me you've told me some of the some of the crazy baby daddy stories and stuff but um what what's what's one of the okay that's what's one of the most recent oh crazy baby daddy no I don't know if I want to say because Shells makes fun of me always making fun of me Brad I swear shells this is for you no this is ammo for the next roast no no no no ammo just kidding oh my gosh okay okay so so it was at wooden nickel uh and this was like two weekends ago oh so just recently recently yes and I decided to go just to bop around and be s but I'm not drinking so I had Red Bull and stuff yeah like water and me and my friend the ex's cousin we decided to go out and stuff we started at sunway then we went to Wood and Nickel but we went to the carnival just to like check it out and stuff oh yeah yeah yeah so then we were looking for the party crowd but the party crowd wasn't even there what we were looking for and then we went to wood and nickel and not even like five minutes walking in me and my friend were like you go in you go in you go in like back and forth like yeah yeah and then he's like go in I was like oh I went in first and then like not even like five seconds this chick comes up to me and she's like hey I was like what and then um drunk Kessa would have punched her in the mouth oh but she's like hey I was like what and she's like hey it's me and then she says her name and I'm like what and then she's like oh um it's me she's like she's like saying like my my my baby daddy's name girlfriend or ex or something she was saying I was like oh I was like okay so so so they're not together now or they still are on and off they made a freaking scene over there and then they end up back together on the on the Tuesday of that weekend okay okay so they're like on and off okay and then they go like they're petty with each other and they take or they put their Instagram back on then when they're together they take it off. What the heck?
SPEAKER_10Like stupid yeah mental mental illness yeah major so that's a that's a prime example of that right there yeah I was no when you were talking about it that's what I thought of right there.
SPEAKER_04So I'm like what in the hell yeah ew but yeah so and then and then so she she's like can I give you a hug I was all no dang you might put gushy on me take a piece of your hair she might grab my wig she'll grab my wig it's not my hair nay but yeah so and then I I and then I started talking to my friend I was like oh excuse me I was like you're interrupting us like you know and it was my really old friend Che that's really cool and he's a Ginny Oh dude he's so nice and so I was like excuse me I was like you're kind of interrupting what we're talking about and then she like just storms off and she just like and then I was like oh my gosh and then my friend's like oh what do you want to drink I was like just give me a Red Bull and a water yeah so he got that and then like oh my god lo and behold my fucking baby daddy comes in and I'm like ew what the hell's going on and she's like I posted on the story on my story and he's seen it and now he's here I'm like bitch you're creating drama so so your friend or her okay so she posted it um on her Instagram okay okay I thought I thought you were talking about your friend that posted it oh no okay okay okay so yeah so so she kind of I guess you could say had had a plan yeah instigated okay yeah yeah like she wanted him to go there okay and then so he showed up I was like oh my god I was like shaking and shit and then my friend like he knows about him and stuff yeah and he's like oh my god he's here and I was like oh my gosh he's like he's not here for you though and I was like yeah I know it's okay how do you know yeah and then I was talking to my um and then she's like oh my god he's here I was like oh my god just shut the fuck up like I literally almost hit her yeah and then she's like oh and then she's told me her sob story that they were engaged and this and that and argued and all this shit and I was like I don't give a fuck and I told her straight up I say you know what I said between what goes on with you two that's you guys' problem yeah yeah yeah and then she was like oh and then she says so what are you gonna do like punch me like what the guy I say it's either gonna be me or my homegirls is punching you and then that's when she like backed off and then um and then I was talking to my two friends they're guys and I was like oh hell no I was like not this guy coming here and they're like who the hell you know how they get all yeah and I was like oh nobody I was like anyways how's you guys' night hey like just trying to like BS and stuff yeah and then she goes and texts his sister what uh which uh yeah which is you know yeah okay and she calls me when I get home like 1 30 one like like almost two yeah and she tells me that that fucking bitch went and um texted her saying Kess is over here at the bar Kess is over here at the nickel what the heck and I was like oh hell no I was like this fucking little girl hey and I was like you know what it's a good thing you know I wasn't drinking because really just would have gotten a fight with her and then that trick yeah that trick yeah yeah and then she's like you should go back over there and go freaking I was like you know what I'm just gonna like let it ride you know like fuck this bitch and like she was playing that two-faced shit and stuff and my homie's like oh yeah she really sure was quick to come up to you and do all this like yeah and then oh gosh he was he was sober for like three five years okay and so he started drinking and I think it was her damn so he was taking shots at the bar and stuff and you know what I started feeling sorry for him yeah because like nobody he didn't nobody he did not know anybody there and he was by himself and he was drinking and I was feeling sad for him huh you felt sorry for him yeah you're like what are you doing it's good to see you and then like I seen him and then like I just didn't like you know anything like whatever and then they ran into each other and then like I don't know what the hell he said but he ended up saying like oh yeah I seen you and I wanted to give you a hug boy boy bye so it was a freaking drama thing I was like ew I'm out if I catch her at wooden dude oh man that's I'm like for her to be shady like that you know I'm just like whatever not that she's my friend nay we're sisters sisters by clan is by clan and then and then there's that one story that you told about about a marker what was the marker the marker and his ride oh shit marking his ride marking up his ride oh my gosh everybody oh if you're hearing this do not mess with your baby daddy yay because he will report you in that's the was that the first or second mark shot I think it was the first yeah I think I think so I I don't remember we we lost count okay shell's favorite topic we we lost count on on uh on on on how many times you were in shell just loves to play with it he just loves to talk about it I'm like what was that one song um but yeah the the the the story with the with the marker that I think that one was freaking funny that was crazy huh yeah that was crazy that's the one that landed me in jail first time dang um I don't I don't want to bring up old stuff because it's probably the case is still probably pending no it actually closed out she's a free lady now and but uh the story is uh don't get pissed off because she's gonna ride all over your car with the extra large sharpie put in her old gang name on his car ew I wrote I wrote dirty ass dog on it and then when the sheriff he's like you left a note for him right I was like what no I was like lying to the sheriff but then I I knew I was gonna go to fucking jail damn and he's like well and he's like not believing me I'm like what the fuck and I was like oh my gosh and he's like yeah we're gonna take you I was like oh and it was like San Juan Sheriffs dang yeah and then he and then that's when yeah he's like well you left a note and and you know you wrote that and he's like yeah this and that I was like yeah he's like we're gonna take you so I was so fucking furious and I was so mad I was watching Blood and Blood out before I did that shit. Seriously you're getting ready to to call uh La Holy L V that do not watch that movie because it'll get you apped up and oh so stupid so I went down to his work yeah and I I was like should I draw like should I just write on it like dirty ass dog yeah or should I just throw a fucking rock in it. Oh my god I oh and I was like no I was like I didn't think that writing on his ride would would be that I mean I mean if you I I don't know I mean I guess how you take it right I guess yeah but that kind of sounded like um bitch bitch bitch bitch not you but yeah no the guy she brought on my car you know like and it was permanent marker it's like I'm sure it would have came off it would have man just some rubbing alcohol and that's it man yeah man and um and Kessa has uh PTSD from it because uh when we played volleyball with shells in the crew there was a car that went by the the exhausting's head pop up looking at look like a you look like a fucking ostrich like a period peeking out literally every ride that went by because it's looking around like she's ready to go chase it ready to chase it and get in jail again oh so now I just don't even bother like with the shit he says yeah because I know it's gonna land me in jail and this is twice it would have been third time when I took off his mirror oh shit on his ride because damn he pissed me off like I think it's just the stuff he says yeah and I let it get to me yeah but now I'm just like oh whatever but but he he knows that huh he knows the buttons yeah he does yeah so yeah and I fucking tore off his mirror off his ride I tore it clean off like the uh mirror yeah like yeah I tore the mirror off man and I like threw it in the grass he's like he was crying where's my mirror oh my gosh I hate it when you act like this I'm like bitch you're the one starting with me bitch I'm like you're starting with me do you not realize that you know like mental health I think there's something up there that's loose you know for him the so yeah so I don't ever mess with him now like I don't like that's good and that's good I I don't I'm done with county they they know me over there and it's so nasty over there it's just uh I could just imagine having a change into the shit they got over there ew and then waiting to get out and then you're worried about shit out here that's that's that is the worst thing ever man that that's that's yeah that's crazy and then um it's uh it's it's cool man because um uh like I said you know we got some we got some people that did um email and some of our listeners are our friends that that we know you know and they're just like oh yeah yeah that's all Kessa here and and she says she doesn't drink anymore and she's like they were like that's cool that's cool you know so so uh just just know that you got a crew behind you that's uh that's uh you know help not helping but praying for it you know I'm out is this the crew that we hang out with yeah yeah yeah yeah the crew and everything and and and like I said you know like uh everybody always asks about you for the podcast and everything I'm out I know that's so cool I'm like I'm starting to sweat again yeah they're asking questions and you know they're like you should ask quest Kessa this question that you guys answered and everything and and uh I guess I guess um well a lot of the questions that that they always ask you know get quite Kessa's point of view is just relationship stuff you know oh okay uh from a female's point of view and again you know like people were so bent out of shape about the whole burger king oh my god the whole burger king I always hear about that because I'm like what in the hell yeah and it was just like and I was like she just didn't understand the I mean not understand the question she just misunderstood the question and and even some ladies too that they went in uh email too they're just like I would never I would never say that I'm just like bitch shut the fuck up man okay never would say yup you're the you're the one that's the the worst one over there all buckle bunny up you never fuck the hay in your life and you never wrote a book you never roped or nothing now you just all over there bedazzled up man a bed just bedazzled princess bedazzle princess that you just shop at boot barn yeah yeah just collecting points at boot barn and that's it and me you just and you want to say this for real so it's always always funny when when we got in those questions and I was just like damn man like it that that hit a nerve you know yeah obviously it did because I don't give a fuck oh man but you know it's it's Memorial Day weekend you got any plans for Memorial Day weekend I mean it's Sunday so we only got one day left before Sunday fun day no yeah sunday fun day was today went to graduation went to graduation Saturday had a party today and it was just major oh man 40 minutes like people talking and stuff yeah yep just it was so weird I'm like just play the damn music and I was just like oh and then like it was cool the food was great they had like taco bar and stuff they had a candy bar where you make your own candy you know just different kind of candies and sodas I'm surprised there wasn't a bar there. Nay just kidding but yeah and um yeah it was just chill but I was just like oh enough with the speeches yeah yep yup for real and then all the people that what that didn't make it to graduation there's a shitload of people all of a sudden I'm like what the heck free food and huh?
SPEAKER_10Yeah yeah it was really good and then tomorrow bike race oh nice 10 miles guess is gonna be out at Navajo Mountain and so if you guys are out there in that area uh we've been getting um like I said I don't I don't like to look at the stats uh but we've been getting people in that area like the Western agency area uh that are listeners now yeah like some of them are from Kianta Tuba City Cameron and I mean it doesn't give us the exact location or it doesn't say like oh this you know this person's listening or whatever it just it just has like a little location like oh you got a new listener from Kianta you know and then like something like that like new listener from Tuba City like it's just just little notifications like that.
SPEAKER_04So yeah I've seen a lot more out in the Western agency area and I'm like man that's pretty cool man so if you guys are hearing this because this is probably going to be posted tonight uh hear this hear this and if you guys hear this go support Kessa tomorrow she's in a bike race uh over in Navajo Mountain Utah um I don't know I always thought of it as Arizona Navajo Mountain Arizona yeah I don't know they said Utah slash a Z yeah yeah yeah so it's like a border town I guess so yeah if you guys don't know where that is it's uh kind of by Shanto inscription house uh in that area uh so go support her and and uh you know make sure she don't fall in no bushes I know I think it's like a road race they said so road race so we'll see how um deep it is but it's supposed to be camping they're doing camping tonight oh okay okay okay like they're leaving like the restroom high school restroom open for people and then it'll open back at six but I don't know I think just the whole last minute graduation and it kind of backed up oh okay yeah yeah plans so major just would have pitched a tent tonight just all rugged out looking all rugged on your bike all struggling the next morning yeah see and that was the kind of thing and then I want to I I want a shower yeah there you go and then so I'm like since um I might just have my mom braid my hair oh yeah and so yeah put it in a bun that way it gives you power we'll fall in a bush make sure you um put some uh uh what do you call it bitter medicine in there and some some pollen what is that one that that thing that Boo wears um T Yeah put in a TL and I better not see Bu over there on the bike just kidding no hate just kidding I don't know uh people just really hate him wait they do we're talking about politics nobody I mean like I like like I said when it comes to that I I'm just like yo whoever we are again we are never gonna get a president whether it's the United States or the Naboo nation that anybody's gonna like um I know everybody's like all for Justin Jones I everybody's like rooting him on.
SPEAKER_10But I'm pretty sure he's just gonna be as bad as Boo I'm I'm just being honest. I'm pretty sure he's gonna just be as because you can't do anything with a four year term. That's the thing that people don't understand is you know the the the the process of things it's not like as soon as you're a president I mean well prison of course president trump trump he can do whatever he wants he's just a crazy one he's a crazy one man of course yeah he you know like like there's some there's some things that he's he's done quick um but it it's not um important things I guess you could say it's just his personal stuff you know with like ICE immigration and stuff of course um he can pass that easily but but other things other other laws you know I wish that he would fucking bring down gas prices oh my gosh I know I'm like what is why am I and why am I traveling and and the crazy thing about it is Amal Trump hey me too Mega Trump Mega man get those fuckers out of here man hey but come clean my yard first somebody's gonna get mad about that
SPEAKER_08It's I'm just joking. I'm just joking. Keep a clean!
SPEAKER_02I'm just joking, yeah.
SPEAKER_08I love Merca. Merca. Fourth of July.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, man. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, when it comes to, you know, like Ike I said in the president stuff, we're we're never gonna have a president that anybody likes at all. And um, like I've always said, you know, that's when it comes down to free will, man. You know, everybody, everybody has that that opinion to to hate and love what they like.
SPEAKER_01But hey, hey, first amendment.
SPEAKER_10First amendment, uh, first amendment freedom of speech, and yeah, yeah. I'll say whatever the fuck I want, and gets arrested.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I gets arrested.
SPEAKER_10African feds show up.
SPEAKER_02That's too crazy.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. But well, yeah, I mean that that's um that that sounds like a good a good weekend. And mine was, like I've said, you know, just had some receptions. Friday was a last minute add-on. I was at Al Rancho. Holy cow! Like it was packed, like it was packed, packed. Uh um, it was a good, it was a good time. I was only there for two hours because they had a band that was there. Yeah, uh, had a reception before that. So as soon as I was done with the reception, I packed it up and blazed it out to to uh um Al Rancho. But man, it was a good time. Like, holy cow, it was a good time. And it's been a while since I've been at Al Rancho. Yeah. Um, so you know, everything was on point. The the bartenders there, they love me when I say when I I'm not exaggerating, but they love when I DJ there because it's never the same set. Never the same set. Uh played something totally different, you know, and um so it was it was a good time. It was really a good time. Um birthday weekend then, so uh if you guys want to support me, hey yeah.
SPEAKER_04Uh his cash app.
SPEAKER_10Hey, here's my cash app, hey.
SPEAKER_04His cash app is is dollar sign, Mike. Yay!
SPEAKER_10But uh, but yeah, you know, um tomorrow the homie um Jason, we share the same birthday. Um they're having a little birthday party for him at 3RB. Um I might show up just as just to show what just to show support. Um uh not really a drinker anymore, hey, anymore, so probably just show up. Um, so if you guys are out there, you guys want to come hang out, come to 3RB. Kessa, when if you get back in time, come check it out. Yeah, what time? Wait, what time? I think it's gonna start at 4, 4, 2, whenever it closes.
SPEAKER_04So she's just gonna be really peddling then.
SPEAKER_023RB, 3RB, 3RB.
SPEAKER_04Wait, are you seeing LRB?
SPEAKER_10LRB is gonna make an appearance.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I know that actually sounds good. Like pizza. Yeah, if they do have pizza.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, well, yeah. I think I think um I'm not too sure exactly what's on the menu, but I think it's just yeah, just like finger foods and and um I think they might order some pizza from from from next door. But uh, but that's pretty much it, man. Like, um, um man, another year being older, like I like I've said on the podcast, I um finally acting my age. Yay, getting in that phase of just like uh okay, it's time for an ex it's it's accepting, you know? Yeah, I'm at that point. It's good. Uh but the past three birthdays were freaking the best, the best birthdays I've ever had. Last year we were in Vegas.
SPEAKER_03Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_10Man, got got um surprised to go watch the Jabbawockee show. Dang, that's crazy. It was freaking, it was dope, man.
SPEAKER_04Now that you mentioned that, yeah. I need it.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, and then the crazy part about it was being at the Jabbawaki, G being at the Jabbawocki show, and then um come October DJing for the Jabbawockies at an at a wedding was freaking surreal. Like I was like, holy cow, man. So that was freaking the best. There were in Vegas last year, you know, like uh birthday celebration. I appreciate that. And then the year before that, we're in Albuquerque, you know, watched uh watch the Isotopes game. And man, uh this year is kind of a little sad.
SPEAKER_08Don't get that birthday treatment.
SPEAKER_10But uh yeah, so I'm I'm just you know, I'm just blessed to be be here on Earth, yeah uh another year, and just um, you know, being able to to spend it with with uh friends, uh circle the circle, you know. Like I said, man, the circle's gotten super, super small. And um man, it's it's but it's good though. It's it's it's good. Um I'm not complaining about it. And um, but that's all I have planned, and and I've said it, I said it again. Only got four more receptions, and I am good. I am done. Uh July. I just I'm not doing anything in July. Uh oh yeah, but I'll be at Fire Rock um this the third and the fourth. In July? Casino in July. Yep, yep. So it's gonna be my debut. It's gonna be my debut at the Fire Rock Casino. I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Uh, so it's gonna be fun. I'm looking forward to that. And then um, no, not no worries, uh, Northern Edge. I'm supposed to be there next month. Uh I can't remember what day, what Friday, but I kind of heard a rumor that they switched me with another DJ. So I'm gonna have to give them a call to make sure that that um that didn't happen or whatever. Yeah. Uh but other than that, I'll be at Northern Edge um in July too as well. Uh In of the Mountain Gods Casino, I'll be there too next month. Uh be back there. Holy cow, it's been three months since I've been out there, you know. And um the um your third month.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10Yep. Everybody out there has been texting me and we miss you, we miss you. This DJ sucks and stuff like that. So yeah, even at even at Northern Edge. Yeah, yeah, even at Northern Edge, yeah. The DJs there suck. Hey, hey. But but yeah, this year, um, this year, like I've said, I I I've really um not not in a negative way, but just kind of stepped back from from DJing, you know. Um uh not not because of anything bad, just just uh I didn't want to wear myself out this year, you know. Uh and I like it. I I like it. I like it having an open schedule and just being home, like holy cow, like just being a homebody now. I love it. I love it, and and you know, just only go to Farmington when I need to. You know, it's only when I need to, and just when I run out of toilet paper.
SPEAKER_01I don't want to go to Fantasy. I want to go to Walmart.
SPEAKER_10Fuck bashes, man. I want to take a trip. But other than that, man, that that's all, man. So again, if you guys are doing anything tomorrow, come hang out with uh with Jason. Um, like I said, I'll I'll probably be there just for a little bit just to show support um and just just hang out with them and then shoot, that's it, man. But sounds good. Anything else you want to share? Kess's stories, uh you see you're over there looking like you want to say something, like a 40-minute prayer.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, 40-minute prayer. No, um what you were talking about, like when um like everyone's being supportive, yeah, you know, yeah. So like you said like the crew, right? Yeah, yeah. Okay, yeah, so that's crazy because um I I I I really appreciate it. Yeah, you know, and it's crazy because like, you know, like the crew that we hang out with and stuff, like it's only like for how so long that we hang out and known. And it's crazy that they're more supportive than the people that I actually known for years. Yeah. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah. And and the crazy thing about it now is is like I said, you know, the um the the people that we hang out with, it's um it's not pressurized. Oh yeah, you know, like um be because I was I was talking to um I was talking to Brandon, and um I'm not too sure. I don't know if it was the last time that we all hung out, but when when um Brandon was like, Yeah, you know, like we we we saw Kessa and we you know she we um she wasn't drinking, she says she's not drinking anymore, and he was like, Man, that's pretty cool, man. You know, and uh they like I said, it's it's it's never pressure. Uh I mean they'll ask, like, hey, do you want anything to drink? Are you drinking tonight? And I'm like, no, no, I'm good. Just a water or a pop or you know, like a Red Bull. They're like, Oh, okay, cool, you know, versus before when there was a lot of people was like, Come on, come on, have a beer, have a beer. I'm just like it's crazy. Damn, no means no, man. Yeah, for real. Like what you drink, you know? You fucking drink it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you buy it for me, but you drink it, eh? Yeah, what the heck? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10But but yeah, everybody was like, uh, you know, like I said, you know, the crew is just like uh, you know, really supportive, and they're just like, yeah, man, good job, Kessa, good job. And even even one of the guys, like, um, well, I don't know if it's a guy or a lady, so it's just like um asking like myself, and then um I guess I guess we could we could close with uh you like like um what was what was the major incident and how how was it when you stopped? Like uh like I I know you mentioned it before, but but what are some of your um uh I guess you could say tactics to to to fight that craving, to fight that urge to to even take a drink. I mean, I mean we we've had a non-alcoholic beer and and I know sometimes that could be a trigger too. So I apologize for for that.
SPEAKER_04No, well, yeah, because they sell um non-alcoholic Michelobe Ultra Zero at Sunray now.
SPEAKER_09Oh, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_04So I had one and it tastes exactly like it. Yeah, and then someone ordered me a freaking beer actual, yeah, and they're like, oh yeah, this is for Kessa, and then they the waiter's like, Oh, it's from that person. Yeah, and I'm like, oh shit, you know? And so it it and I smelt it. Oh, you can smell the deck. Yeah, yeah, you can, you can. I was like, ew, I was like, no, and I gave it to my friend, I was like, here he drink this. But yeah, so like um it's crazy how how much it smells and tastes the same. Yeah, but like for yeah, not to have triggers and stuff, right? Like you have to stay busy, you have to literally like stay busy, stay away from the crowd that you used to party with, yeah, even though it's gonna be hard, because like I I guess like if they are your friends and you want to hang out and they think like, oh yeah, we can go to sunrise, or we can go, you know, go eat out, but they're gonna have a drink, and you're kind of like, uh, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_09Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So it's kind of staying away from the party crowd and staying busy and not thinking about it. Like, if you feel like you're gonna think about it, do something, uh like cleaning or get on a bike or something, like just get away from the thought. Who is that screaming out there? Is that Shell?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, is it Yenny or something about it? We have the front door open because it got hot. I have I haven't cleaned out my cooler yet, so overheating. When you um start asking Ketsa questions, she just turns puts on her sunglasses and gets all hot.
SPEAKER_04She's walking around fanning herself, getting all nervous. But yeah, that's crazy. But I appreciate the um the support. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I appreciate the crew having my back because they are just really awesome to hang out with. So I'm like, either way, I'll still drink NA's with you.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's in and it's uh it's it's a trip because like I said, you know, like um, like I I bought those just as um because people were telling me, you know, like like um like oh you should try, you should try. It tastes exactly like a beer and everything. And it took it literally took me three months to finish a 12 pack. Oh not not because I didn't want to drink it or anything like that, but after being sober for so long and and keeping it, it's like it slowly fades away.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it does, yeah.
SPEAKER_10It it slowly fades away the cravings, and like I said, I I mean not craving it, but I was a social drinker, you know it, you know? Yeah, um I when when we were with the crew, you know when the when it was big, you know, yeah, I I drank because they drank. Yeah, um, but in all reality, I don't think I ever wanted to drink. I think I just did it because everybody was doing it, you know, and and I'm not I'm not saying anything bad about it or anything saying like, oh you guys shouldn't it or whatever. It's cool. You guys, you know, you guys, you guys drink, relax. You know, if you guys had a bad day, drink, yo, yeah, have a beer or whatever. But for me personally, I I think I just didn't want to. But just because everybody was was doing it, I I just kind of was just like, I didn't I didn't want to feel um not not left out, but I didn't want to feel because some people have some type of way when you when you're not drinking, you know? Yeah, it is. It's weird.
SPEAKER_04So and then well, and then there goes me. Oh, what do you want? Do you want to take a shower with me? Do you want to go to the show?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean, yeah, yeah, not even not even that. Like, like, um, like with with like I said, with you and everybody else, like like the the the small group that we have now, like um every the cool thing about it is everybody knows their limits. Oh yeah, every everybody knows their limits now. So so when you had asked me, it was like yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, like let's take a shot or whatever. So we took a shot and that was it. It wasn't like crazy you coming up with with beer and shots is like here I bought this for you. Like you were so respectful to come over and like, did you want anything? Let's take a shot. Did you want a shot? And I'm like, Yeah, let's do it, you know. Yeah, um, versus you know, somebody just coming up and shoving a beer in your face, and then you know, like you're you're DJing and then you don't drink it, and they're just like, Oh, you're not drinking? I'm just like, Oh yeah, I'll drink it here in a little bit, you know. And because, you know, ever since, yeah, when the last time, the last couple times that I DJ'd at that, no worries when I was sober. Um, you know, like like um some people have done that, you know, like kind of shove a beer in your face. I'm like, okay, cool. And then I just pass it off, you know, pass it off to somebody. Uh, but you know, like like I said, you know, with the crew, I trust the crew enough to when they come over and you know, are you drinking tonight? Do you want anything? You know, like I said, I'll I'll I'll still take it, you know? Yeah. And sip off. I'll still take it. Yeah, I'll still take it. I'll take it. Let me have like three. Uh but it's it's different now. You know, it it it really is different now. So it's uh it's you know, all respect and love. And you know, I'm not saying that I'm perfect or saying like, oh, I completely stopped drinking. Uh but you know, like like I said, you know, if it if it if it's um if it's a a a single amount or whatever, I'll take it, you know? Yeah. And it's not like as before of like where I feel like I I'd have to or need to, you know? And um, but yeah, it's it's it's it's good, and it's good.
SPEAKER_04It's really good.
SPEAKER_10No more fire water.
SPEAKER_04No more watering holes.
SPEAKER_10But but um, but yeah, so so your your tactics, um, your coping skills, I guess is what they call it, is just being active, you know? Yeah, going going on bike rides, um stuck in his page. Um listening to Wu Tang with your shirt on.
SPEAKER_04Listening to Wu Tang. Oh my gosh, and then like the there's a they're they're doing a tour again. Oh, yeah, I saw that. And I'm like, and then my friend teases me, he's like, Oh, you're gonna go to one upgreen. That's why he's from like, ew, or whatever.
SPEAKER_10What is it called? The final final chapter?
SPEAKER_04Ew, and mine just says the final chapter, the final chamber. It's like, why are they doing that again?
SPEAKER_10Oh yeah, yep, yep, that's that's crazy. I know I was looking at I I saw um one of my one of my buddies went and sent me a flyer of it too, and I was looking at him, and I was like, oh man, it's like they're gonna be an Albuquerque. I was like, but um, you know, Albuquerque is a hidden mist with concerts, it is, it could be totally dope, it could be totally clean, and I'm not talking about the artists, like the artists are dope, but I'm talking about the people who go, you know. Uh some people are just stupid when they go to concerts and they they just I'm like, why would you come to a concert to get drunk? Okay, like it's your own personal whatever, you know. Why would you come to a concert pay $18 for a beer when you could use that $18 to go get a 30-pack and get drunk at home? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You know, or in the car. My stupid ass. I decided, well, they didn't sell Michael Ultros at the time when I was Chris Brown. Okay, dude, I started drinking Coors Light. And like those things were like freaking $18, $19.
SPEAKER_10Holy cow.
SPEAKER_04And then it's like stupid, you should have got a buzz ball and you know what to do, you know. Yeah, and I just didn't even do that.
SPEAKER_10Then and then with uh Coors Light, you have to drink like 18 of them just to get a buzz.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I wasn't feeling it. And then I started smoking on the side with some random guy, and I was like, shit, I hope this ain't lace.
SPEAKER_10Talking about smoking, um, that's um, I guess you could say um at that's one of no, I don't want no, I don't want to say that, but um, I've I've um I I used to I used to be a big smoker, not like not like cigarettes or anything like that, but the devil's lettuce. The green, yeah, yeah. Not not I wasn't like a pothead. Well, some people might say I was a pothead, but um I always just like smoke half a joint just to chill, you know? Yeah, and um not me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so I kind of, I guess you could say kind of started, not I don't want to say started doing it, but um just indulging in it a little again, you know. Yeah, what about the chocolate? Yeah, yeah, it's it's yeah, it's it's cool, and like um like I I I had one a couple days ago, you know, just lit one up and just smoked half of it, chilled, um watched the weather channel, and hey, watch the weather channel, and then and I knew that today was gonna be a good day. Yeah, I saw the seven-day forecasting.
SPEAKER_04Hey! And then it's all the you're just watching the rope.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, just the phase, yeah. And the whole entire time it was just a screensaver face.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_10Oh man, yeah, but yeah, that that's uh that that's kind of what um, you know, and and it was funny because one of my one of my good friends, um, he was he was telling me when I was telling him, you know, and he was just like, dang, he's like, Are you a pothead? And I was like, no, and I told him, I said, man, I said there's I said there's things, other things that could be worse, you know, like Dang for all. It could be on meth, could be on cocaine, could be uh alcoholic or whatever. I was like this, you know, I'm not trying to justify smoking or anything, but I'm just like, you know, I I I know my limit, you know, and just puff puff pass. Hey, puff puff give. Puff puff give, man. And just just uh taking it. Taking it, taking it, yeah, just taking it. But but yeah, um uh thanks uh to Kessa for coming out and uh recording a podcast again. Today was just kind of uh um Sunday fun day vamp uh random questions, I guess you could say. Um of of of just um of just that. Uh but but the main ones that that I wanted to get uh I guess you could say a f um a point of view from Kessa was the because you know she's she said that she's not an influencer. Hey but you know, um I know that she does have social media because she does, you know, promote for me too as well. So you know appreciate that. Uh so wanted to get her insight on that, you know, with with the whole social media thing and and then also you know they they were asking about the ex, you know, they're asking. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, I could sit here. Um I can sit here all day and talk about them.
SPEAKER_10Next the next podcast, we're gonna dedicate that just you talking.
SPEAKER_04I miss you.
SPEAKER_08At the end, she's gonna be trying to call him again, like at Denny's.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, at that time I was calling my baby daddy but yeah, yeah, the next time we're at Denny's, it's gonna be him. Just kidding, so they wouldn't really ask about that.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They're asking about that. And and uh like I said, you know, it's it's um it's uh it's it's from a female's point of view, you know, and and uh like I said, they they people were saying that your your energy and and just your laugh and everything is good vibe.
SPEAKER_04So that's so cool. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_10Well we'll be doing a meet and greet um lux tree over a lock tree from three to six. Okay, Missy Spencer.
SPEAKER_02Speaking of her, oh man, I seen I seen some flyers, dude.
SPEAKER_10I've seen some flyers like uh around the area over at Entertainment Mart. I went I went to Entertainment Martin weeks ago. Yeah, I went to Entertainment Mart a couple weeks ago uh because it's been a while since asy. Yeah, yeah. As you know, I I collect um those Funko Pops and the new edition of the office came out. Oh so I wanted to go check at um entertainment mart to see what what new ones came out, and uh but just before I left, I I went to the restroom and I saw the the the little board there, you know, uh with all the flyers and everything, and I seen a poster there, and it was uh meet and greet Missy Spencer on TikTok, whatever and all this stuff, and had her picture on there and everything.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, dude, she was sitting at What a Nickel, bro. She's always over there too. Oh my gosh, yeah, and I'm just like, oh my gosh, that's that's Missy.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh, let me get a picture with her.
SPEAKER_04And then I was laughing because when you were when you when you were talking about like the influencers talking and stuff at the school, yeah. I was just like, oh my gosh, some of them and some of them should just not be over there and they're just bopping around in the wrong places, you know? And I'm like, you guys are over here saying don't drink, don't do this, but it's like, oh, you know, like what in the heck are you talking about? Practice what you preach. Oh yo, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10So I I saw that, and um, I guess they're gonna have like a like a dance over at Lock Street. Um, yeah, like a dance at Lock Street, like they're gonna have three bands there. Um, I think it is $15 to get in. I don't know when the date is, it might have already happened. I don't know. With Missy, with yeah, Missy, Missy Spencer, and then there was another guy. Um I don't know who the other guy was, but uh, I guess they have a radio show too, like uh like a one-day radio show. I don't know if it if it's just the the radio show. Remember how people go to uh performance to make announcements? K KD. Yeah, yeah, like K. I don't know if it's just that that they have an hour radio show or whatever, but um on there it really it really says that you know the uh Missy Spencer and something from something something radio show, you know. What the hell?
SPEAKER_04And she posted her job everywhere on Facebook, right? Everywhere, everyone just knows where she works.
SPEAKER_10Dang. So if anything ever happens to her, it's her own fault.
SPEAKER_04And I yeah, okay, let me just say I think she works at that Chevrolet place in Farmington.
SPEAKER_10Oh, okay, okay. Performance, is it performance? Because I saw performance on the on the performance auto.
SPEAKER_04It must be, yeah. And she I don't know if she sells cars, but she's like, Oh yeah, come for me, come come come see me. And I'm like, What? Yeah, I would not get a car from you.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, so that was that that was funny, like coming. I mean, just you know, you hitting on that topic of the influencers and stuff, like that's Yeah, yeah, that was crazy.
SPEAKER_04I couldn't believe it because I was just like, what the hell?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, and some people were some people were bent out of shape about that, about me even talking about it and saying that they shouldn't, you know, they shouldn't be. But I've always said, you know, I'm I'm not the perfect person. I don't consider myself a motivational speaker or whatever, but um when I do do some events like that, you know, like a TED talk or whatever, like I'm just a hundred percent honest, you know. Yeah, hundred percent honest and just like you know, I'll I'll be the first person to tell you that I'm not even perfect, I'm far from the yeah. Yeah, yeah. But to have these, like I've said, to have these people um to come in and then you do see you you knew them before, you know, yeah, and then they're just like um like whatever, whatever, you know. And then it was crazy because I I actually talked to um one one of our listeners and she was um she was talking about the um she was talking about the vent because she took her her daughter over there to the event and she said that um it it was more yeah, it was more so just like a big meet and group for TikTokers. And she said every booth or whatever that that that these TikTokers or whatever had, um they were all on their live. Oh god. They were all on their live, you know, and they were you know they they weren't even interacting with the kids that were there. I already knew it. And they were just in their own zone in their on their live, you know, asking people for gifts and stuff, and then they said, So what was the point? Yeah, exactly. I I have I to be honest, I have no idea. And they she was like, yeah, she was like, you know, she's like, we were um and so she said there was two of them that she named, um, they were actually charging five bucks for pictures. What? Yeah, she told me their names on I'm not gonna say their name on on it because I'm pretty sure they're gonna get butthurt about it, but yeah, she said that for pictures, you know, like they were asking for pictures and they were charging five bucks.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy.
SPEAKER_10Five bucks for for for the pictures. And I'm like, what the hell? I mean, I know some hip hop artists, some some people do charge that, you know, as as you know, as as a fee, I guess you could say. Yeah. Like when you go to Comic-Con, when you try to get a picture with one of those people there, you know, they they're like 20 bucks for a picture, you know? Vegas. Fremont Street! You have to try to get a picture with Spider-Man or Mickey Mouse. Hey, right! And they're all harassing you, yeah, they're all harassing you, man. But yeah, she was she was saying she was like, Yeah, she's like, you know, my daughter wanted a picture, and she was like, They, you know, they asked for five bucks. That's crazy. And I'm like, what the fuck? Come on, you guys. Yeah, and and she was like, Yeah, she was like, all of them were on their lives, and she was like, Nobody was interacting with anybody. She's like, she was like, I was looking at some of their lives, and she was like, it made it look like they were interacting with people. She was like, but they weren't. And then uh she was like, everybody was just kind of at their canopies and they were like on their lives. Um and you know, she was just like they had the you know activities and stuff, and she was like, People weren't even being, you know, she and she was just like, Yeah, it was just a like a big meet and greet.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy. And I'm like, damn.
SPEAKER_10I was like, holy cow, and like what happened to the speeches? Yeah, for real, then what happened to the speeches? But you know, like who am I to say anything? Like I said, you know, it's it's it's whatever, whatever.
SPEAKER_04We'll just let them have their five minutes. Yeah, they're five minutes of fame, yeah.
SPEAKER_10And then and and then she was uh she was telling me like um she was telling me like, oh, do you still talk to this person on TikTok or whatever? I'm just like nah, it's like I don't have any. There's only two people or one person on TikTok that I'm still in communication with is you know Jonathan from you know Native King, you know. Uh go go, man. Damn. I'm just kidding, that's so crazy. Oh man. So I I told her, I was like, Yeah, he's the only one.
SPEAKER_04Oh, Native King was there.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. And and she was like, uh she was hyping him up because she said that he was um he was actually interacting with the kids, and of course, like you're like a very positive person. I know him personally, and he's like that, man. He's he got that energy that that just you know that just loves on people. So shout out to you, John. Uh Native King. Uh he I I I know how he does when he's at stuff like that, you know. And uh she she hyped him up. She was just like, yeah, she was like Native King was good. You know, she was like he um he talked to the students and he was interacting with them and everything, and he was she was like, he did good. And I was like, Yeah, so John's a good guy, man. So um, but but yeah, she was telling me like, you know, like like um these other people, and then she was just like, yeah, she was like TikTok has just gone, you know, like like south. And she was just like, all you hear is people, you know, that did um ask for stuff on on Ash Trevino. And then um she uh man, she she talked, she was talking about this one lady on TikTok, and I know who she is because I met her when they had the first um TikTok festival out in the mountains over by Nobonapass. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01Uh uh I I as much as I want to say her name, but man, she was saying whisper just text me the name.
SPEAKER_10She said that she's always on TikTok, like begging, asking for money, and you know, like she can only keep a job for so long, and then she's complaining about it and quitting and stuff. That sounds like a big I almost said who it was. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, so she was she was uh telling me about her, and then she's telling me about another guy. Uh he's pretty big on TikTok, and she was just like, I don't know if he has a job. She's like, I don't know if he has a job. Um his kids are working, but I don't know if he has a job. Is what she's saying. She was just like, As soon as, as soon as I get on the TikTok, she was like, he's on live in the morning, and then she's like, he's on live again in the evening, and then on live. And I was just like, you know, some people that's their job, you know? Yeah, and but man, uh, you know, he she was telling me, like, like this guy is, you know, he's he's has a big name or whatever, and he has like four kids or whatever, and all his kids are working on their own, you know. And I'm you know, I was just like, Man, as a father, like how can you know, I hate to say it, but how can you call yourself a man and not have a job to support, you know? That's crazy. And then on TikTok on a yeah, like how would your kids feel that, you know, to say that, oh my god, my dad's on TikTok. You know, like they say, what's your dad do? Oh, he's on TikTok, or your mom's on TikTok, whatever, you know, like how like I don't know, and I've I've as as a as a man, as as a provider, I guess you could say, you know, I I I would feel shameful about that, you know. Like, damn.
SPEAKER_04Dang, and then have all the kids working. Yeah, and have all your kids working. And how do they get so many people, like so many followers, like really watching and gifting, you know? Yeah, yeah. I'm like, how does that even work for I have no idea? Even if I try to do that, nay, yeah. Probably would just say Santa Corgi.
SPEAKER_10Santa Corgi. Yeah, yeah. I I remember the when when me and Shells used to do the adventures of of Mike and Shells, uh, we would use my account, you know? Oh, okay. And um, and so people would gift, like, but it was only just like a rose, you know. I didn't I didn't ask for it. And it's not like uh I think I think the biggest gift, a the biggest gift that I got was like a um like a corgi or something.
SPEAKER_04Oh how much is that? I have no idea.
SPEAKER_10I have no idea, but the but when when when we ended the live, um, and then they would always like, oh, this is how much you made on your live, and it was only like 50 cents, 25 cents, you know, it wasn't anything big. And then that one time when we when we went live when we did the the hot dog giveaway or whatever, you know, um, that one was probably the most that that I mean I didn't intend for it. Like I said, I I didn't tell anybody to give anything. Yeah, we were just live because we wanted to show what we were doing, you know. And uh we're only live for like 30 minutes or whatever, but that one um I think we made like 60 bucks. Oh, yeah, 60 bucks on that one. So that was done. Split it. That was that just went back into the hot dogs for the next one. Yeah, 30 30. Show's like, where's my 30 bucks? I I gave him 20. Boom. There's a $10 fee. $10 glizzy fee. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But but yeah, we just we just used that one for the next for the next hot dog. So that that helped us out a lot. But yeah, that was the most that that I've ever, I guess you can say ever got from TikTok was just that 60 bucks, you know. Wow, I just imagine. Yeah, it was only like 20 cents, 25 cents.
SPEAKER_04How do people cut checks over there? Huh? That's crazy. I I don't understand it.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I was just like, you know, it was I was just like, I don't know. I was like, but that's considered a job nowadays.
SPEAKER_04It's not even influencing anything, they just talk about other influencers talking shit, you know?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yep, exactly. And and and like I said, you know, I just I'm just like, whatever. It's it's it is what it is, you know. Not gonna not gonna bash your job.
SPEAKER_04Hey, I don't wanna bash your desk drop.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I don't want to be able to be able to be able to I don't want to bash your desk drop because that's probably what's your dream.
SPEAKER_04Yay!
SPEAKER_10Your living room set up, yo, your living room set up, man. And well, I don't know, man, but that is that's just that's just me though.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy work, though.
SPEAKER_10Yep, yep, yep. But other than that, Kessa, thank you so much for for coming out and uh just being on the podcast again, like I said, answering some oh answering some of the questions. So almost threw up don't cry. Yeah, but uh, but thank you so much for coming on now. Again, we'll um I'll sort through all of the questions.
SPEAKER_05I know the questions are my favorite.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, go through some of the questions and and um, but those are the ones that that they were asking that. I I held off, you know. Yeah, I was just wanting to get get get some insight on that, but but the questions uh I haven't gone through any of the questions. Um Shells Shell's is coming back from Ohio, so he's he's on the road. Uh, we'll get him back on the podcast again, but we'll get you on probably uh whenever you're free. Not doing a bike ride.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I know, yeah, cuz um I just kept holding it up. Just just got roasted and left.
SPEAKER_10She took an L. She was like, uh, what do you call it? Um uh what was it? Um oh what was that guy from uh Eight Miles that got beat at the end?
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, no, it's like Papa Dot just got beat bad and left, I know. Ghosted for like how many months? Yeah, she was just freaking that's when she started missing him too.
SPEAKER_04Dang, I know. I really I'm really gonna stop, guys. I'm not gonna, I can't, I can't keep leaving like this. Just kidding, no. No, it's it's it's okay. I'm okay, I'm over it. That's good, that's good I think I'm over it. Nay, but it's just like stupid Strava.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, we'll we'll we'll see in a week.
SPEAKER_04See you in a week. We'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_10Update's really dang update. And oh, this is the picture that he posted. He was at this trail.
SPEAKER_04Hey! I hope not. I'm so scared. I I I hope I never run into the Vino.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, so so if you can see his profile on that, that app, can he see yours?
SPEAKER_04Um, I he could, but I put it on private.
SPEAKER_10Oh, okay. So only people that that you've befriended can see it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Oh so and I yeah, so obviously he doesn't know that you can switch it to private.
SPEAKER_10Oh, okay. So you're you're stalking him from a view, huh? From behind a bush.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah. And I'm like thinking, like, oh my god, if I ever see them on the trail, I'm just gonna fucking throw my bike in the damn bush and then like hide.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, pretend like you got injured.
SPEAKER_04Hey, yes, and then I'll just throw a rock. Oh so that her tire? Flatten the tire, flatten that trek bike. I refuse.
SPEAKER_10Cut her cut cut her spokes.
SPEAKER_04I refuse to ride on a trek. Yay, just for that reason.
SPEAKER_10Oh she's all the other. She goes, she's all. Oh, that was uh that was another one, another one that they were talking about. I mean, me and Shells, we would talk about it too, but um they were they were talking about the the slang on TikTok, you know. Um do you you do you use any uh because they said that the slang on TikTok for native TikTok is mainly from females. So do you use any of the slang?
SPEAKER_04No, is it the two like you or like she goes?
SPEAKER_10Ew something like that.
SPEAKER_04I feel like the no is just annoying, yeah. Like, and then two's getting annoying too, yeah. And then ew, but I'm always saying she goes, she goes, she says the ew. She's all ew. And they're like, ew. But my worst thing is ew.
SPEAKER_10That's a that's a classic, man. That's a crazy. So that one's not even anything. I always text you that too. Yeah, oh, and then another one is that word major.
SPEAKER_01Major! Oh my gosh, yeah, that one is major.
SPEAKER_10Major, and then uh uh major's a good one. Um, and then the when they when they add not to anything, not like not the oh, oh, like not the yeah, I see like not the I don't know, like if it's like not the dog barking, yeah, like that. Not the dogs barking or not the whatever, you know, like they're they were saying that too, like not the yeah, that's like an embarrassment like thing, huh?
SPEAKER_04Like like you're embarrassed and you're like not the camera guy, or like I catch myself saying not to, yeah, either. Yeah, and then the other one is like they say cooked. Cooked, I think I'm so cooked, bro. Like you're cook, bro. Yeah, and I'm like, what? And I started saying that too.
SPEAKER_10So like you're cook, like you're in trouble, or like yeah, well that that one's I think that one's just a universal within the with with with Gen Z or uh Yeah, yeah, it is like you know that I think that's just normal, but they're they were more so like talking about the like the res, the the the res, like oh the res lanes, yeah, like the resew is it that one's always been around. Is it I've been saying that a lot now a but uh but I know the ones they were talking about was like dunno and she goes.
SPEAKER_04I feel like she's all and I feel like she goes, I feel like she goes and she's all is been around too.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, and then uh yeah, just that one too, not the like you know Yeah, that's weird.
SPEAKER_04So or now the Gen Z saying chud.
SPEAKER_10What's that?
SPEAKER_04Ugly, I guess.
SPEAKER_10Chud?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, as in like it's ugly or something.
SPEAKER_10Man, that's a calling the person ugly or something. Oh, that's a little close to chub. Like dang, he has a chub.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, it does. I was like, ew, I was like, you little 13-year-old saying that shit. What the hell? It's almost close to that word. Hey, what about cut the show? Cut the show? I've never heard that. That's another, I don't know if that's Gen Z too. Really? To like cut the show, bro. Cut the show.
SPEAKER_10I've heard um, I've heard the huzz.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_10Is that is that like crush? I think I think either crush or like that's your that's your snag or whatever, you know. Yeah, and then uh riz is like flirting. Flirting, trying to riz. Yeah, trying to riz. And I just uh yeah, I just I sometimes when I hear Brooklyn say stuff like that, I'm like, what the heck is that? And then like she'll tell me, like she's the one that told me about Riz, you know? Yeah, and then I'm just like dang, so he's all rizzed out. Like I say that's gotta be all cool and then rizz out, man.
SPEAKER_01Nay, nay, nah!
SPEAKER_04It's so funny. Oh my god. You crack me up, you guys crack me up when you say that, or you're like, ew, ew, I catch myself doing that on a bike ride, like when I'm just hauling ass.
SPEAKER_01Then it like when I mess up or something, I'm like, then I'm like, crazy, that's too funny.
SPEAKER_10Oh yeah, but then um another one, but like my uh I was reminded of this word. I remember it back in the day, but was always cruised. Oh, cruise. Like uh you gotta kill something or something. Dang, that dog got cruised, man.
SPEAKER_04Dang, there was another word similar to that. I can't remember what it was, but it was something like, oh wait, no, was it carney? No, yeah, I guess carnival. Carney.
SPEAKER_10Yep, Carney's been around too, man. But yeah, I was reminded of that word word cruise, then and then uh uh started saying chug too, and oh chug it, chug, nay, chug it, yeah, chug it, chug a little man, but yeah, gen Gen Z words are are like they're they're coming up with something new every every day, and um here I am trying to bring back shit, yeah, shit.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's that's a that's a that's a good one too. Yeah, back in the day.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, trying to bring back that, man.
SPEAKER_04I feel like cut the show is the newest one. Cut the show is that kind of like cut the shit kind of yeah, like cut the show, like when like my my friend's daughters are like 13 to 17, and they always say cut the show, cut the show. Like when they get embarrassed, yeah, or their mom does something embarrassing or says something embarrassing, or something happens that's embarrassing, they're like, Cut the show, cut the show, bro.
SPEAKER_10I'm like, what the oh then then I heard another word for cooked is like buns, is it? Oh, cooked, yeah, or like buns, something like yeah, I don't know. I was just yeah, I'm like, dang, you better not say that in public, and you can freaking get a sexual assault case on you.
SPEAKER_04Hey, for real, yeah, because they think it's buns, like buns checking out, yeah, checking checking out your buns or something, you know. Yeah, it's crazy. Even like six-year-olds be saying six seven, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_10Like, you don't even know what that is, man. You can't cook out the ten, then how you say what are you talking about?
SPEAKER_02The ten, you little shit, man. Why are you saying six seven, man?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we say six seven for cut the show, cut the show, cut the show, man.
SPEAKER_10Cut the show, you're cooking all buns down and you all do this.
SPEAKER_02You didn't make a shirt like that. Oh, that would be freaking funny. That would be a cool sticker, bro.
SPEAKER_10Yep, there you go, man. It's my butt's my ideal, all right. So I said it, said it first, and so I want to see your shirt out there with all those sayings on it. Dang. That's you can be I said I'm gonna cut the show.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna we're gonna um what was that one that we're gonna come get you or something? Not Riz. Um the other one.
SPEAKER_10Which one?
SPEAKER_04Cruised cruised? No, no, Riz and something else. Buns, huh's huzz, no, no, I'm not huzz. Well, anyways, we're just gonna find you. It's copyright infringed.
SPEAKER_10Copyright infringe, we're just gonna cruise you.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna cruise you like the like the res puppy out there, cruise you like on the way back to Farmington.
SPEAKER_02And then they're gonna be like, dang, he got cruised. All got cruised.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, there's another word for that that Gen Z says that nowadays. I'm like, crazy.
SPEAKER_10Then after you say that, I'm like, no, no, you do really good.
SPEAKER_01It's so funny. I cannot batter the two. Oh Chico, she goes, major not the cruise.
SPEAKER_04Ew, not the cruise, ew. They're like, not the uncle, not the uncle, not the uncle.
SPEAKER_10Oh, yeah. But if you guys are out there, you guys uh know some Gen Z words, email it. Uh Michelis M I K E L E S S. Or if you guys hear your kid say some Gen Z words, uh send it over to us. That way we can uh find out the meaning, uh, see what the means. Um that I think that'd be a good um topic the next podcast, and that way we can see who all emails and dang Kessa got cooked. Dang got cooked during the roast.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, got cooked by shells.
SPEAKER_10She got cooked twice, roasted, and cooked.
SPEAKER_01Literally got put on the grill.
SPEAKER_02Um was all rizzed.
SPEAKER_04She was all rizzed, she's all burnt. She's all burnt. Like I'm burnt now. I'm hot as hell. I'm hot because I got sunburned, that's why.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_04But damn, I'm all fucking dark. Like major. I know major.
SPEAKER_10Yeah. I know um we're talking about kind of some pet peeves. And um, and Kessa was talking about having the lights on in them the exact same way. I'm just like, where the fuck is that light on? You're not even in there. So the light's off here in the living room, and and since Kessa's um sunburned, I can't see her.
SPEAKER_00All you can see is the light eyes.
SPEAKER_10All I can see is the light from the microphone.
SPEAKER_02Major just the light from the microphone.
SPEAKER_04Major, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But before we close, what's what's some of your pet peeves?
SPEAKER_04Pet peeves is the lights. The lights. I hate having lights on in the house.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Cause I don't know. Just I hate it. Like if the lights on in the kitchen, like even just the kitchen light underneath the hood, yeah, that needs to be off. Not that, you know, I don't care. Uh not that it's like a bill thing.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04But it's just, I don't know. My parents always say, You guys need to turn off the lights. Why is this light on, you know? Yeah. So I kind of like carry that over. I don't know. You got light money? Yeah, yay! Comes out with light money. Yay!
SPEAKER_00So I said that.
SPEAKER_02Is it okay if I buy it?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. So um, and so we're talking about the pet peeves earlier, and then uh Kessa has her has her sunny boy here. So um she Kessa's all like uh what he asked, he's like, Can I uh he has he's in Brooklyn's room, uh just hanging out in there. And I told Kessa he can turn on the light, and then Kess is all I don't I don't my pet peeves is having lights on. And then I said that I was like, You have light money? And he really comes out, he's like, here you go. He has a dollar in his head. Yeah, oh my god. That was pretty funny, but that was cool, man. So you know that that uh he's gonna come through if you ask him, hey, yay!
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then see like the restroom lights on, you know, and it's kind of like dang, like the lights are on, you know. But if like the room lights on, the restroom light, the kitchen, dang, you guys need to turn off these lights. Like oh, my friend, she has five kids. Oh, they all leave them on uh, they all leave them on. I stayed there for two weeks because of my fucking leg and shit or whatever. This was like two years ago. Yeah. But damn, I was getting annoyed. Like the TV was on, it was blaring, and then the lights were on. And I was like, damn, you guys need to turn off the lights, you know?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So yeah, I guess that that would be my your pet peeve. Pet peeve. I can't really think of anything else.
SPEAKER_10I know I saw you keep looking at the the light in the restroom, and you're just like, dang, that's like it's been on for a while, so that's like a dollar fifty right there.
SPEAKER_04Hey, I know. Just turn on the porch light. Hey, we'll go take this party outside. Yeah. Yeah. Wait, you I think you have what is yours? I think you asked, or I think I you said it.
SPEAKER_10I don't remember the wall. I have a lot now. Oh yeah. One of my biggest energy is about people driving outside.
SPEAKER_04Oh shit, huh? Okay.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I can see.
SPEAKER_04Oh shit, really? Wow. Oh wow. Okay, I guess you can see because you're holding up the traffic and stuff. Always the fucking Arizona people are like. Damn it! You know what? This is the first you know, you're not the first person to say that because my dad always used to say, damn fucking people from Arizona. Oh, and he's like cussing. He's like, I fucking hate it. I hate it when people would be driving like from Arizona. I was like, oh my gosh. So I could see it because they'd be doing that.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was just like um just like yesterday when I was when I was headed up to apartment for the company.
SPEAKER_00That was his ride that was in the in the in the left everybody was passing it and they were honking at that car and saying, It's all a cha.
SPEAKER_04Bro, it's a Che, bro. What's the matter?
unknownYou're a fucking Che.
SPEAKER_08You're a Mason, you're learning how to drive, get your ass on the right side, and that's crazy.
SPEAKER_04Or like the four-way stop, you know? Because is it always the right, yeah, the first person on the right that stops? They can go, fuck people, stop, and then they go. And I'm like, what the fuck? Did you not take driver's head?
SPEAKER_10Okay, so Farmington dude not does not know how to use a fucking roundabout.
SPEAKER_04Oh my god, bro!
SPEAKER_10Okay, so if you guys if you guys are from Farmington or if you guys are from anywhere, then that would be we don't we don't have to use roundabouts as as Native Americans don't know how to use roundabouts. Hey, uh we just yield and we just drive right through it having a fucking roundabout. And in Farmington, the same thing. Yeah, same thing. I know how to use a fucking roundabout. So if you guys are in the area of Farmington and you guys don't know how to use a roundabout, fucking stay on Broadway.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, fuck. Or people that can't drive on the fucking highway, like Albuquerque, and they're like, you know, you have to yield and you have to fucking hurry up because these people are coming 70, 80 miles and they're barely going, I'm like, you better fucking hurry the fuck. I'm gonna run into your ass, you know. And if you're driving on the highway and you see somebody trying to fucking get you seriously yielding, you see this person yielding trying to get on, and they just don't even oh my gosh, that shit pisses me off. It's crazy, bro.
SPEAKER_10Kidnap they they they need to enforce driving laws. I mean, if you're going to have driving on the left hand side driving for the side, yeah, for real, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And the four-way stop and the highway patrol.
SPEAKER_10Oh, what one of my things that I hate on the red is we do not know how to fucking use the school zone.
SPEAKER_04Oh fuck. Seriously, and then plus the people that are crosswalking the kids. That's crazy. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_10And and then I say this because um here's your problem we have. We have two school zones. One going out by TVA and then one right here by Mesa. It's embarrassing because the one that is by Mesa, which is just up the road here, is next to a fucking police apartment. Oh my gosh, yeah. How much respect people have for that one care less.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, they get two by there, go to buy there, and no, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Well, because they know they know, you know.
SPEAKER_10I I pulled over there at the school zone.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_10There was a kid that was at the tool at the crosswind. Wait alongside the road. Oh my gosh. I saw him. And I drove back to him, and I was looking in the river mirror, and nobody stopped the light. I turned around. The light is right here by down the hill. Okay, people were stopping.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, not even stopping.
SPEAKER_10And I put my light on and I got out of my car. Oh my gosh. And then so when people saw me, that's when they kind of started slowing down, and then one side saw, the other side stopped. So I went and I got the kid and I walked him back. I walked. Yeah. And then so I I I I got back into my car, and then I I I waited there for a little bit. And people were zooming by and I was honking at them.
SPEAKER_04Oh my gosh, that is too crazy.
SPEAKER_10Somebody had to ask me to call the police on me. What? Just for helping me. Oh my gosh. Just right when I was getting rid of the two story, right when I was getting rid of the leading down in the couple of micro on and everything came out of my ID. What's your business here? People call saying that you're honking at them, and you got out of your vehicle, and I told him. I was honest with them. I said there's a cross, I said there's a crosswalk here. I said when there's a school zone. I said 15 miles per hour right here. And I told him, I said, nobody nobody abides by this right here. I said, Yeah, it was a little bit of a hair that was waiting. I said it was waiting to get across. That's why I came over on this. I thought I turned around and I came back here. And I told him, I said, it's embarrassing. I think because the police department's right there. Yeah. They're not even they're not even here. And then the police officer is all like when did this happen? And I was like, ten minutes ago, I said home at people that are just zooming by. And I told and then there was a there was a freaking heart to just zoom by too.
SPEAKER_08Right in front of me. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_10Look, and I said, Look, I said even your presence here doesn't even do anything. And he just looked at me. And then he was just like, I'll give you a warning. And I think he went back to the city. That's crazy. And then he was just like, he just gave me his license and he was like, You can go now. And so when I got back on the road, I guess his consciousness or whatever, he parked in the middle of the of the medium. What? Okay, trying to work now. He parked in the medium with his lights on, and that's when everybody started slowing down. I turned around right there by the hospital, and he turned out back that way. And I was just like, when I drove past him, I just stuck out my hand out of my my window and gave him a thumbs up, looked like Terminator when he was in the Yeah, for real, Terminator. That's crazy. I can't Yeah, and then I remember we were working on the other side of T V8. So I was just like, I'm not even gonna try.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy. I don't think they think about the kids, you know, crossing and stuff. Damn, fucking zooming too. And plus those drivers.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, those drivers.
SPEAKER_04How are you licensed?
SPEAKER_10But yeah, that's that's uh that's the podcast for tonight. Uh kind of went on a little rant there.
SPEAKER_04We got some something, we got something to say to the New Mexico taxation.
SPEAKER_08Oh, I think I went and turned off my hold on.
SPEAKER_04He turned it off?
SPEAKER_08Did I turn it off?
SPEAKER_04He said goodnight. Hey, fire life, good night. Oh, oh is it dead?
SPEAKER_10I don't even know if anybody heard me on. I don't know if anybody oh dang, there it is.
SPEAKER_08Oh dang, I think I was talking the whole time and I didn't even know I had it on mute, man. Damn, yeah. Is it that easy?
SPEAKER_02Uh yeah, yeah. It's a it's the bottom button. Damn, man.
SPEAKER_08No way, so they didn't hear your whole story.
SPEAKER_10Oh shit, man.
SPEAKER_02Hopefully they got it on yours.
SPEAKER_08It's not like that's it.
SPEAKER_04And then Shells is gonna say, it sounds like something underwater. Shells is gonna make a comment again.
SPEAKER_08Oh man, fuck, I didn't even think about it.
SPEAKER_10That's crazy. How'd you even know? Oh all right, well, because I I was checking the time just to just to see where we're at with the with the time, and then when I was talking, I didn't see the the levels of it going up and down. Like now? Yeah, like now. Like now, like when you said that, yep, like now, like now. And then I was like talking, and I didn't see my levels going up, and then I saw the middle, the middle light on on my mic, and I was like, holy shit. See, like right now I'm gonna turn it off. You see, you can't see anything on it.
SPEAKER_04Oh shit.
SPEAKER_10Turn it back on, there it is. Damn it.
SPEAKER_04Damn, that looks like something in the hospital.
SPEAKER_10Looks like my heart rate. So just don't go flatline. Oh man, but if they didn't hear the story, it's okay. We're talking about school zones and how dumb it is on the Navajo reservation, and then also the dumbass um, what do you call it? Um uh what the heck is it called?
SPEAKER_01Dumbass president.
SPEAKER_10Dumbass president. Hey shit. That oh my god. So I have to go back tonight and listen to it to see. No, no, to the whole podcast to see if it recorded anything you guys said. Holy shit.
SPEAKER_04And then after that, post it. Wait, you mean the whole thing?
SPEAKER_10Yeah, I don't I don't know if I if I might have accidentally hit it. Well, I don't want to say that. I think I might have just did it just recently, like maybe 10-15 minutes ago.
