And I remember we went out and we went to go visit them, me and my brother. And we went out, we visited my sister, you know, their family, and if you guys know the Arizona area out that way, sales, sales, Arizona isn't too far from I think it's Juarez, Juarez, Mexico. It's like only 45 minutes from the Mexican border. So constantly on the TO reservation, you have, you know, immigrants walking across, walking, asking for water, you know, like, and so my brother-in-law, oh, he never let my my sister, my niece stay by themselves. Uh, so you know, there'll be random people knocking on the door asking for water, and they had a they had like a little um spout outside that they always let the people, you know, like, okay, you guys can get water there, whatever. So me and my brother, when we went out to visit on the way back, this was probably uh this was on the Sunday, Sunday, um, Sunday day. We're coming back, and we stopped in uh just not too far outside of sales, Arizona. There's a popular gas station there that was called Three Points. Uh all the Mexicans used to hang out there, man. They would be asking for rides and everything. And so me and my brother, we stopped there because they had bomb burritos too, bomb breakfast burritos. We stopped there, we got gas, we got you know snacks for the road, and then when we're putting in gas, we got approached by like two younger Mexicans. They asked where we're going, we're telling we're headed back here to New Mexico, and dude, they offered us 1,500 bucks to give them a ride to Casa Grande. So, what do our dumb asses do? Looked at each other and said, We looked at each other and we're like, all right, all right, let's do it. This is a story that I've not told anybody because I was always scared that, oh shit, we're gonna get in trouble, oh shit, cartel, you know. I was always scared to tell this story. But me and my brother's dumbass, man, we freaking were just like, oh man, 1500 bucks, that's a lot of money, you know. So I remember we told them, okay, we're gonna park on the side. Once we park on the side, uh, jump in. So we did. We parked on the side, they got in, they didn't have anything at all, bro. They didn't have no clothes. Uh no, no, not not no clothes. Just two random Mexicans getting it naked up. They didn't have any bags with them. They didn't have any bags with them. So we we parked on the side, and then all they had was just just water, bottles of water. So they jumped in and then we left. And like I said, we know I know that area. We know the back roads uh to from from sales, Arizona, Tucson to Casa Grande. We know the back roads. So we jumped, we started going the back roads, back roads, and then not too far, I would say about maybe 50 miles from from three points, we got stopped by Border Patrol.

So um don't mind the don't mind the uh the noise. Show's there just handling business in the back. But the border patrol let us go, we left. Got all the way to Casa Grand. I remember we dropped we just dropped them off at uh Chevron gas station and they gave us the money. Fifteen hundred bucks, man. Fifteen hundred bucks. And I remember from Casa Grand, when we left Casa Grand, we went straight, we went straight to the mall, and I think we pretty much blew those that 1,500 banging home. All I all I know is that we came home looking fresh. We finally told my our family about maybe two, three years later, and it was so funny. Like, like um, again, at that time when my brother-in-law was alive, he was uh he was a police officer for the tribe down there, sales, and he was just like, What the heck, guys? You know, you guys could got into some trouble, you guys could uh, you know, like some time, so it was funny. But at that time, 1500 was a lot of money and it was worth it.
